American scientists in the 1920s actually wanted to conduct this horrifying, racist study

In the late 1920s, scientists hatched an outrageous plan to settle a question at the heart of American racial thought: were differences between racial groups driven by environment or by heredity? In other words, was the racist social order of the time – white over black — an inevitable and genetically driven outcome? Or did the environment in which all Americans lived create the deep disparities and discord between races that defined the social, economic and political reality of the United States?

A committee on “Racial Problems,” jointly sponsored by the venerable National Research Council and the Social Science Research Council, discussed an experiment: create racial orphanages, separate institutions where children of different races would be received as close to birth as possible. The idea was to compare white and black children under similar conditions. Scientists could closely monitor the institutionalized children as they developed to figure out whether differences were due to innate characteristics or environmental influence. Nursery schools and foster homes were proposed as places of comparative study too, but most of committee’s discussions focused on the idea of racial orphanages.

And the Germans actually did it.  Those were the days when this sort of thing was thought about.

    AND LET'S not forget that such "Eugenics"-style studies actually had their beginnings with the British Museum, and the Scientific community of the time, under the auspices of the House of Lords and 'the Church', at his/her Maj's 'pleasure', largely funded by English and Scottish investment companies, during the 18th and 19th centuries...

TRYING to "prove" and demonstrate that the various Negroid, Asiatic, and various "non Christian" heathen peoples of the world were in fact sub-human savages, just waiting to have civilised and God-fearing improvements forced upon them..

Primarily so that countries like Britain, Holland, Germany. Italy, Portugal and Spain could more easily claim title to such "uninhabited" and/or "uncivilised" places as Australia, New Zealand and other 'Pacific rim' nations, Canada, Central and South America, the Indian sub-continent, and several parts of Africa.

Largely on the premise that the "savage", "ungodly" and "backward" indigenous races weren't properly *exploiting* and utilising their countries before European invasions..

The British Museum is still to this day holding onto dozens of stolen Aboriginal, Maori, First Nation and African bodies, skeletons, body parts and artefacts ~ refusing to hand them back to their respective families or countries ~ and despite being ordered to by British courts, and even an Act of Parliament !!!
