The Chancellor has seen monthly borrowing soared to £13.1bn, with the December rise blamed on the extra £2.9billion Britain paid the European Commission

George Osborne’s failed attempt to cut the deficit got worse yesterday when monthly borrowing soared to £13.1billion, up £2.8billion compared with last year.

The Government has now borrowed £86.3billion in this financial year, which is just 0.1% less than the last.

The December rise was blamed on the extra £2.9billion Britain had to pay the European Commission.

Labour’s Chris Leslie said the Chancellor “has broken his promise to balance the books”.

So what happened to Dave's big talk and Osborne's claim that he had negotiated it down?

JUST MORE EVIDENCE, if any were needed, that :

(a) National debt, overall taxation, and the costs of 'essential' services will always increase; and
(b) Employment levels, corporate taxation and the tax contributions of the richest 5-10%, and the provision of 'essential' services will always drop;
Under a "Conservative" (read: 'reactionary'..) government regime..

THEM'S the facts of life, when voters grow foolish enough as to keep-on re-electing the same ol' thieving "dull tools" and "blunt pencils" into office, apparently hoping for a different and better outcome each time...
