It'll be nice to see Hudson finally get a start in the WS. But I hope he gets his butt kicked
Re: San Francisco game two
Moving on to San Francisco. Better venue, better crowds, better views.
I am rooting for the Kansas City team to make a much better showing. In the recent past the Giants have had no competition:
2010 saw the Giants defeating the Texas Rangers by 4 games to 1.
2012 saw the Giants defeating the Detriot tigers by 4 games to 0.
I'm hoping this time, maybe, we could have a little more of a match.

Peavy is old & washed up
Strickland is a rookie who has given up a HR every outing so far in the Post Season
Royals got murdered with real pitching look at what Bumgarner did to them
Giants in 5 or 6

No doubt, Peavy is old and Strickland can be wild.
The Giants don't have the pitching that KC has. Ventura has some heat, don't he? And a great bullpen.
But when that Giants lineup comes along: Panick, Posey, Sandoval, Pence and Belt...something's gotta happen.

Royals will get better in time with the pitching they need the experience, i hate the giants, i still have a grudge on Dusty Baker for ruining Wood & Prior.
i hope KC can win but Giants have too much to overcome

Re: San Francisco game two
This is one of my big beefs about baseball -- a team that is ordinarily, objectively worse than its postseason foe can still get hot and win. I really think those 2010 Rangers just got cold at the wrong time; could have been a much closer series than that.

I watched that series.
It certainly was chilly...if that's what it was. And the Detroit series was downright arctic. Both those teams were way better than they played. But...that's why the go thru the motions of the game.
Look at the Oakland and KC series. Oakland is sooo much better than they played. But.....
