Another poll shows a huge swing to the YES campaign
First topic message reminder :
TNS released their poll this morning and the gap between both camps is now too close to call.
It's jitters all round now as it sinks in that Scotland breaking away from the UK is a real possibility.

I mentioned 'doublespeak' before..... plus that I think that all lib lab con & SNP are working for the EU.......
Now the proof is conclusive but amidst all the manufactured and largely superfluous arguments and all the posturing about the important big differences between a yes or no vote, the end result will be more or less exactly the same!!!!
Either vote......
a) 'yes' for more independence and devolution and get more independence and devolution.......
Or vote.......
b) 'no' against more independence and devolution and get more infer

Or vote.....
b) 'no' against more independence and devolution and get more independence and devolution....!!!!!
They are all working towards the same agenda which is pro EU and breaking up the UK.

Australia is apparently confused as to how this will affect our flag

What he actually said: “We’re ruled by effete arseholes. It’s a shite state of affairs to be in Tommy and all the fresh air in the world won’t make any fucking difference.”

THE TRUTH about those national flags that still show a Union Jack in the corner ~ Oz, NZ, one or two African countries, a couple of Caribbean countries, and 2 or 3 South Pacific islands; and another 12, 13 or so territories and dependencies ~ is that it makes no difference at all !!!
Britain signed off on total independence for most of these former colonies back in the 1970s and '80s..
The Union Jack on these flags NO LONGER represents any kind of link or dependence to the former motherland ~ but is only kept there for "historical significance". Therefore there is no longer any legal or protocol or "traditional" reasons that affects any of us..
PERSONALLY, I'd be happy enough simply to replace the Union Jack with the Aboriginal flag, and leave the stars on the blue background as is...
yeah ::D:: IF Scotland vote aye I think we will end up with that fairly soon

Re: Another poll shows a huge swing to the YES campaign
I’ve already explained the position about the EU and how it relates to Scotland. It’s not a problem here and there is no way you can make it so. There is also no way the UK will leave the EU either unless UKIP get voted in as a government with leaving it in their manifesto. Dream on.Tommy Monk wrote:Clearly still flapping around over the EU and implications....
Tommy Monk wrote:And I am talking about costs in setting up the many levels of govt and a new Scottish civil service dealing with all the necessary levels of bureaucracy that will be required to oversea and control everything.
And I'm sure this will involve a whole load of new quangos and regulators etc.
You are trying to argue that Scotland pays for all this already but this is only a small part of an already existing network of UK infrastructure.
Scotland will have to set up all new Scottish only layers And the inevitable huge start up costs.
Not that it matters now as the no campaign won but where is the evidence that we don’t pay our share in providing the infrastructure across all sectors of government services?
And now you can stand back and watch the fall-out from the No vote win as Westminster goes into meltdown in trying to get the late ‘Better Together' pledges through the HoC and the HoL
There will be trouble ahead

Re: Another poll shows a huge swing to the YES campaign
The EU was mentioned..... the choices were......
a) vote yes = breaking up the UK and immediatly signing up to the EU under more EU control.
Or
b) vote no = further breaking up the UK by weakening parliaments powers, staying in the EU and more EU control.
It has been the EUs aim to break up the UK power for a long time.
And this has now been achieved by stealth and by fooling people into thinking they have actually had a choice!!!!

Re: Another poll shows a huge swing to the YES campaign
Now the next part of the plan is ready to implement.
This is already being favourably argued for by the media and other politicians.
And is completely following the EU agenda........
Even more break up of what's left of UK parliamentary powers under the guise of more devolution, spreading Only some of the remaining powers to regions that are already drawn out by EU plans.
Although the EU will be continuing to grab what's left of any important powers throughout this with only very little ending up making it to local levels.... and all at massive costs in taxes...
Then the argument will be that the UK parliament is no longer necessary as it essentially has no powers left at all, with most already handed to the EU And the rest dissolved to the EU planned regional levels......
