De vacaciones, you mean?
Actually I love the term "holiday," it sounds to me like a far more significant thing than "vacation." Hope you have fun, wherever it is!
Re: I'm off on me vacation today
To elaborate -- in "American," holiday means basically the root of the word -- a "holy day," or something we've made similar to holy, like one of our presidents' birthdays (or some shit)
Re: I'm off on me vacation today
Have a happy vacation/holiday/rest blah blah Gerbs.
Where are you off to? I'm away to Spain in about three weeks.

Now you're reminding me of my high school Latin class. It was a good thing the teacher was a man who lifted me up and made me think I could be something greater, else I'd've slit his damn throat
But no, mainly he taught us about life and "Pink Floyd -- Live From Pompeii"

That is because he is a noble man of elevated taste Sure that's why you snared him in the first place!
Re: I'm off on me vacation today
By the way, you know that Pink Floyd is the band that they say would have been made if Lennon had remained in control of The Beatles, without all that cloying McCartney influence, right? And that Lennon, of course, was the best Beatle by far ::D::

Old musicians' joke I heard -- do you know when McCartney began writing Silly Love Songs?
1964
With that, I'm off to bed. Part of it, I blame on our Britons. The other part I blame on El Jimador ...

I didn't like Lennon much tbh, I quite liked McCartney.
Having said all that. I think George Harrison was the dark horse of the talent in the Beatles; have you heard most of his stuff? He's really quite good.
I like Pink Floyd too.

John and George just were deeper thinkers and not so top surface as McCartney, find him boring. Always felt that in a room with John or George and others you could have a really good conversation, Paul would bore you to tears in five minutes.

You're probably right - I not keen on Paul nor Lennon as soloists tbh, but as a mix they were pretty good.
