A quick thought before I go to bed

Just wanted to share this thought before I hit the sack.

I just told VOD that I believe our forum is useless if we all agree with one another, and doomed if we can't continue to talk to one another despite our disagreements. I would say that's the main thing I'd like to see with our site. I'd like to see it be a place where people who don't agree can talk with one another, because at least in my experience, I learn a lot from people I disagree with -- and that's not to say they change my mind, necessarily, but that they enrich my knowledge.

People are entitled to their opinions and should be able to voice them.
Free speech should be for all not just those we like and or agree with.

It's a lovely site.Just think it's a shame when folk descend into personal abuse.

How can you judge when you log out for weeks and admit that you barely even look in or read anything that's posted?
