Will this clear things up re Hackergate?

First topic message reminder :

After someone asked Admin dean on Flap forum a question this was his reply.
I will highlight what I believe to be the relevant section:

Dean has no need for his site to be vindicated, he has done nothing wrong, nothing was hacked. This was a crock of shit from the start and FM would not be reinstating anything if there was a chance of wrong doing. The most likely explanation for the removal was someone thought it may stop Sassy complaining. She did say she complains to FM a lot.

Am I getting this right then Nems, those messages were from Buttercup who is Admin at FM, to Dean? And the section that it mentions has been restored on Flap, so they must be genuine yes?

I was passed to litigation and filled in two forms to give them the information. I went on the thread daily previous to that to see if there was an update as I started the thread on the Friday and she is French and wasn't going to be in until the Tuesday. It's all on the thread, which is viewable by anyone.

Yeah, Phil started this stuff by making it out as though he was being impersonated here, claims which you saw and let me know about. I did check the various IDs and actually did not see any old accounts he'd used sharing those IP addresses, so I can't prove him wrong with that method.

I don't believe him, though; the posts sounded exactly like him and there are elements of the whole thing that just don't add up if he really was impersonated.

As far as I'm concerned, we're just going to keep watching for him sneaking on and defacing the board, and for that matter, watching out for anybody who might theoretically be impersonating him as well.

Yep! my little jas used to sleep till half nine some mornings but lately it's 6:30 and my Son up at 6:45 for school bus.
I have to say though both my children are quite chilled out children so theyre not all mad and in your face in the mornings cheers

OK I have pm'd him, given him what you said and asked him to look at the IP address of the person who posted it all. There is a Kitty101 on line, if trouble comes from that I have pm'd him about that as well and the fact it is not you, which I presume it is not.

Yes KD for the tenth time everything is back. The emails are genuine and I don't recall you shouting for an end to the crap when there was much crowing over chat being taken down.
