To Ben from Shady.
First topic message reminder :
Good evening Ben.
First of all the niceties. How are your knees? Well I hope.
Ben,not that it bothers me,because I hardly post here or on Inaflap anymore but.....having read through all this garbage about hacking between Flap & this site I can tell you what will happen next.
This site will go the same way...It will crash & burn.
Unfortunately Ben,it's what always happens because the same old names are in the thick of it.Same old names.Same old routine.Same old thing.
Shame really but that's how it is.

Christ Quim.
Multi-dimensional picture indeed.
It's a group of idiots who don't have a grasp on reality, who are addicted to forums and can't let go of somebody calling them a tw4t a few years ago.
And what is your point, lil andy? Out of all of that you describe, Nems stands apart as the one with the clearest understanding and the levelest head of all members on this board.

No, i do, and i proved it above.
Proved it? Have proven it?
Hmmm... you decide!

Yep...all this rat-piss that comes down the pages of these threads, and I look for Nems. She generally clears the air, fair nuff.
"Prove" or "have proven," either works. The direct verb form is generally the more active, my French professor says.

Sussed for what exactly?
Telling lies = no that was you
Going hell for leather after any male on the board = that is you
Criticising Flap whilst endlessly trying to get back on there = no thats you
Being a multi ID = no thats you
Endlessly PMing people to get them on side = you again
Pming the admin of what ever forum you are on and dripping poison so sweetly down their ear = you
Did I mention lying ? YOU YOU YOU!

No, either way you were correct because you used the past tense in each case. The only difference is that in any French-based language, the direct verb connotes action, while the conditional connotes status. For example:
I ran = action of running. I have run = the status of having run.
What can I say...I loved languages in school.

Oh dear, you poor dear. I think the best thing is to leave you in a darkened room for your own good. You might have to live in the past because your conscience makes you, I'm happy and living in the present, so stop making any more of a fool of yourself, it's most unbecoming. Now dear, you carry on and say whatever bilious thing you want, I won't be replying.

Could you give an example of where i could put the word "prove" in to my sentence - "No, i do, and i have ... it above".
Preferably without changing every single word lol

Re: To Ben from Shady.
I'd put on the stirring spoon pic, but Eddie says it's sexy, so it's not really applicable is it. And Victor already said what happened, and that isn't what he said. Now, don't you think you should stop living in the past as well Quill, I know memories are important when you are old, but not the ones that show you up in such a bad light.

A verb form is generally active, hence the direct form is taken as action. You soften it, so to speak, when you add the conditional. Make it static or passive.

Victor is a member of your sassy posse, sass. You bullied him so much that he ripped the place down.
I don't fault him, but whatever he says today goes back to how you governed him back on SpeakFree. It's called reduction of cognitive dissonance...he's going to try to vindicate at he did, even tho you had the puppet-strings.
That's what broke it all up.

And now the only thing interesting about any of this is that burning question:
Will all the parties involved with this ever ever ever be able to move on from it?

lol i think we have crossed wires Quim.
Yes, it's highly likely both my solutions were ok - it's to be expected.
You said i could have just used the word "prove". I think that's wrong.

You are arguing with the way I expressed the infinitive verb form.
The way it actually appeared was in two forms of past tense.

Doubtful, Ben. You saw the way sass engineered the whole Golden Gate Bridge string from scratch. It was a ruse by the Sassy posse from the start, much like you see the games over on Flap.
I see no reason to believe they are going to cease.

I disagree Quim, i think you're all tw4ts.
We told Benji-boy in the first few weeks the way things would go - the loony left would tear this place apart, and just like they did elsewhere, it doesn't involve the evil right, they just do it amongst themselves, all the time.
Of course along the way they abuse the other half of the board too.

I'm afraid nothing but a public apology is good enough.
What you did was spiteful and it needs its own thread.
It ruins trust the posters have in the forum - you will need to reassure the posters.

You know it's true.
I don't "take sides." I agree with some people sometimes and disagree with them at other times. You can ask Sassy, she and I don't always see eye to eye. We do agree on a lot. I used to get along with Nems quite well for that matter; if you ask her and she's honest, I've been perfectly friendly with her.
Then she decided I was protecting Phil and, despite all that's gone on since, she's got this narrative about me now -- I'm a bad guy -- and she's chomped down on it and won't let go.
I answer what's said to me on a moment-by-moment basis. I'd be happy to bury the hatchet. But I can't argue with someone who has me "all figured out" and I'm not obliged to ignore it when someone has a go at me. I do that a lot more than you might realize already.
