Woman dials 999 after bouncers say she is 'too ugly' to enter city centre bar

A woman dialled 999 after claiming bouncers had stopped her from going into a bar - because she was too UGLY.

The unknown woman made the call to police in Manchester at around 2am this morning after she was refused entry to a bar in the city centre.

She claimed door staff at a bar in the Northern Quarter had refused to let her back in and told her it was because she was ‘too ugly’.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the woman had left the bar to have a cigarette outside before trying to get back in.

There was then a disagreement between the woman and doorstaff at the venue and she rang police, alleging they had said she was too ugly to be readmitted.

During the phone call the woman told officers she would wait for them in the Northern Quarter.

But when officers arrived the woman had left.

Greater Manchester Police City Centre tweeted details of the incident out on their account but a police spokesman said the matter was not being investigated further.

Anyone from here on a trip to Manchester at the moment?

Really sad, these people just don't understand how their actions or words can affect others, who may be scarred badly on the face or something...

Just like the lass Katie whose ex boyfriend threw acid over her, she is really brave and a true inspiration, and I hear she has found love again

I think less people would be so cruel if they really and truly knew how they made others feel.

Sorry could not resist and yes it is wrong to deny someone entry, but to call 999?
I reckon more like she was too drunk and might have made it up, but who knows it is a media story, but nobody should be denied entry on looks
