Not just act, but ruin an employees life.

Channel 4 received over 2,000 complaints about it's programme "Muslim Call To Prayer" and what did they do - they said it was islamophobia.

I think we all see the difference - one person from a certain "community" speaks - they are listened to - the silent majority speaks, they are ignored.

Now are you realising why the worm is turning?


The BBC’s sacking of a veteran DJ after he accidentally played a song featuring the N-word has had such an impact on his health that he may not work in radio again, it emerged yesterday.

David Lowe, 67, has a condition known as a dystonic tremor which he says has worsened significantly since he was punished for broadcasting a 1930s recording of The Sun Has Got His Hat On.

The corporation was forced to apologise to the presenter for its poor handling of the situation and offered him his job back.

But Mr Lowe, who had been with the BBC for 32 years, said he could not accept what he called the ‘magnanimous gesture’ because his condition – which is rooted in the central nervous system – had deteriorated through stress.

Mr Lowe lost his job after he played a recording of the song by Ambrose & His Orchestra on his Sunday night show on Radio Devon. The version includes the line: ‘He’s been tanning n****** out in Timbuktu, now he’s coming to do the same to you.’

The programme, for which Mr Lowe was paid £5,000 a year, had an estimated audience of tens of thousands. It is understood that only one person complained and that Mr Lowe, who was unaware the word was in the lyrics, planned to apologise to listeners on his next programme.

However he was prevented from doing so by bosses who asked him to ‘fall on his sword’.

Channel's 4 broadcast of a Muslim call to prayer during the holy month of Ramadan was the programme that brought the broadcaster the most complaints last year.

The broadcast received 2,011 complaints about its 4Ramadan season, with 1,658 specifically about the broadcast of the daily call to prayer.

Writing in the broadcaster's annual report, the head of factual programmes for Channel 4, Ralph Lee, said: "The level of Islamophobia we encountered with the 4Ramadan season was unexpected, though much of it came from communities that were either very polarised or very undiverse."

The BBC made the wrong decision in sacking this guy. They sacked him but let Clarkson off the hook for what seemed worse than what he did - and more often.

It's absurd. Did he even know the lyrics to the song? I didn't know them, apart from the chorus.

That's right Nems..sometimes what is regarded as PC correct causes more bother than it's worth, but other times it can play a part in keeping people safe..safe from exploitation, corruption and danger.

And the girls kidnapped in Nigeria by Muslim terrorists,are Christians.

Why hasn't that fact been mentioned in the news?

And the correct word for boko harem is terrorists,not insurgents or a political group.....Terrorists.

But Shady is right it never mentioned they were Christians, I think you are just left to make your own assumptions. That and the Archbishop of Canterbury is trying to get involved as a negotiator.

Neither employee should have los their job. The Liberals left and the PC zealots rule the world at present. Clarksons gaffe wasn't ever aired it was an outtake which the scum at he Daily Mirror got heir hands on.

This bloke was simply treated abysmally. Another nail in the coffin of the PC zealots the pendulum is swinging back.

At least i was able to get the English government to wake up and listen to my concerns about our own schools.

Wasn't AB Welby a major player in Nigeria when he was in the oil industry ?
