The Mail on Sunday has previously revealed that halal meat from animals who had been stunned before slaughter was being sold in schools, hospitals, pubs and at famous sporting venues such as Ascot and Twickenham.
All the beef, chicken and lamb sold to fans at Wembley was secretly prepared in accordance with Islamic law, while Cheltenham College was one of several top public schools which also served halal chicken to pupils without informing them.

I will be asking in the future before I eat the origin of the meat, unknown and I will not be ordering.

Why should we have to put up with this because some can't eat what we eat ?

Groups such as Gaia, the A.L.F., or PETA ["People Eating Tasty Animals"..] go in and film what is happening in one or two rogue farms and slaughter houses..

AT THE end of the day, all that they have demonstrated in what can happen in some of the more extreme and marginal sites !

THEY don't do anything to give an overall view of the industry though, do they...  


P.S. Have you given up eating any Halal/Kosher fruit, vege's and convenience foods, as well as lamb, poultry and fish, in your singular and principled stand against have any religion-endorsed foodstuffs sneaked into your daily diet ???

I was having a very friendly chat with David about foxes killing chickens and free range eggs. I have no idea why you decided you had to jump on my posts.  I am not a political person, I have no idea of who has what manifesto, I simply know what I believe in and I have held those beliefs for 40 odd years and frankly a faceless name on an internet forum is not going to change them.
