Celebrity death guess...
First topic message reminder :
Yes, folks...I think I done something similar elsewhere before, I know it's distasteful..my step dad was champ at this and won some money in his work,as him and other managers would put money in the kitty every week until a ' winner' pops it
..when my mum told me he done this , I though it was quite distasteful...but then I thought..well it's nobody's family that we know, so they won't be harmed by what they don't know I guess...I would never do this with anyone on here ffs!
Lets have your bets on the next famous( most likely old) person to die...
Only rule is that it has to be someone famous themselves...not their aunty's cousin's sister...
And heard by the majority of people, my step dad had his last bet on Nelson Mandela for the past two years, since when he took retirement and recently collected his winnings.
So her looking up all the old people and lets have a bet!
Don't know who I'm going for tbh???
Bruce Forsyth is getting on, but he still looks in good shape for his age!!
I'll guess later...

I can't believe the 'outrage' this thread has created. Are some people just looking for a fight?
Loads of people do celebrity death pools; hell even flap runs/ran one (I think mattiducatti/tommy monk predicted both Chavez and Thatcher). They are a bit in bad taste no doubt, but so are many things. It is incomparable to racism.
Since everyone else is busy bitching over it I'll throw in some guesses of my own:
Bashar al-Assad
Ian Brady
Robert Mugabe
*I wont lie, on a totally immoral hypocritical Leftie note; I would revel in the news of any of those three kicking the bucket

I could have named others who I think will die but would rather didn't (a certain Prince and a certain former Cuban leader) but that wouldn't really be fair, and old movie stars and the like have a tendency to live very long.
Mugabe is in and out of ill health,
Brady has to be on his way out,
al-Assad is always one big rebel strike from going the way of Gaddafi haha
I'm just backing the most likely candidates

No harm? How would you like it if people were making bets about when you were going to die, or when a member of your family was going to die? How would you like it if they made money out of it?
You've got some strange ideas about what's right and what's wrong.
Big deal. Are you winning money here, now, on this forum? It's a game. Fantasy. No real money is involved. You will win nothing.
I personally feel that wishing death and verbally typing that they hope that person is in pain and dies a slow painful death is much worse than playing an online game.

The calamitous coalition is pursuing the concept of "death dates" for our pensioners, I guess it's just another method used by the city to get their hands on all that grey filthy lucre, one cretin even went as far as telling coffin dodgers to go out and spunk their pensions on Lamborghini's, such was the terminology used.
The stench of hypocrisy is overwhelming!
