17 of the victims were women and children and almost all shot in the head.
This shit makes me sick.

I think a great-sounding prescription for making someone batshit crazy is to keep them in a war zone for, what is it now? 12 years? Twelve YEARS?!
Re: soldier pleas guilty in Afghanistan massacre
I was 5 years active duty and some of my military buddies are still suffering severe mental and physical anguish from their tours in iraq and Afghanistan. (Even in the military, i didnt believe we should have been in iraq and Afghanistan, so I always found ways of avoiding tours to those places) my friends are now suffering so much that they can't even work. I support our troops but despise those giving the orders.

At the same time im close friends with expats in Afghanistan and they say that the US presence there does keep the Taliban at bay and most people are terrified of the taliban and want them gone.
