SUPER-SIZE graves meant solely for overweight people have been planned by a council to cope with Britain's growing obesity crisis.
In a UK first, the 30 large plots will be dug near the roadside so undertakers do not have to carry the heavy corpses far and will be wider than the usual graves.
The new three-acre burial ground is expected to open next year and councillors said they were responding to requests from funeral directors.
Sutton Bridge and Wingland Parish Council are planning to build the 9ft by 8ft graves - four foot wider than usual - by the entrance of the cemetery.
In Houghton Regis in Bedfordshire the council charge an extra £75 for obese people to be buried.

Surely that is discrimination.......

That is good thinking for the pockets of the few. Extra money earner thrown in for the councils to squander.
Monsanto really are helping this world tick over nicely, so all the mean minded, greedy bastards can make more cash. Meanwhile the everyday Joe blogs pay to suffer until they die.

Ah well...you see.....IF you dont conform to the R/W ideal.....then you are a scrounging /overweight /idle/useless/foriegn/whatever waste of space...there only to be exploited (which basically means letting them make as much as possible out of you.
However if you dont conform to the L/W ideal, you are a nazi/racist/homophobe/generally vile person who deserves to be marginalised....and to have their fat b'stards screw you overs (like EU commissioners)
no wonder the country is screwed....
we need a change......

Lol Ben!
Hmmmmm it's a tough one.
On the one hand people should be discriminated against because they're overweight - who knows what their health issue?
On the other hand...who should pay for the extra services required?
I lean more to the fact that let's treat every dead person with the respect they deserve.

Hmmm...I rather think eddie, that you mean lets treat the dead with decent and customary respect....for the sake of their loved ones. IF we went down the route of treating the dead with the respect THEY actually deserved, some would just get chucked on the council tip.....
