So, these are quotes from the New testament and there are many more about slavery, but know how many verses condem homosexuals in the new testament? None. So looks like christians got things a bit muddled. I wonder if they would still cling to the Word, if I enslaved them and beat them and then told them that God and Jesus demand they respect and obey me as they would Christ.
New testament also says women shouldn't wear makeup, how come no anti makeup movement?. Lets start marching to get makeup illegalized (yes, I just coined a new word)

By the way, the verse in peter about slaves is addressing christians who have been enslaved.

And imagine how much open homosexuality was going on in Rome, Greece and many other places where the new testament took place, and yet it is not condemed by jesus or the apostles ever. Jesus is always going on about love your neighbor, but in modern times it has turned to Judge your neighbor

Roman not so much, most of the wests Homophobia comes from the Romans and they made it part of their culture out spite/racism for the Greeks.
Keep in mind the Greeks dominated first then when Romans took over they did as much as they could to Belittle the Greeks making it easier to subjugate their colonies.

Although Rome did have it a little different than today, it was considered fine to be the giver (still a dominate postion) but to be the reciever made you a sissy weakling

But in Spartacus (the TV show) they make it look like homosexuality was almost normal in the Roman Empire.

The Cognomen 'Atticus' was given to Romans that were openly gay insinuating that they were really Athenians and was considered an insult.
There are several examples of Closeted Homosexuals with political power that get shunned when they come out of the closet. Julius Ceaser himself fended off claims of being Gay for much of his early career, to the point where some say he was openly a womaniser in middle life to counter the Gay slurs his politcal opponents used to use.
