To Ben,
Just a weird observation; but my post count seem to have plunged by around 50 or more; as has the overall post count for the forum, which was well over 60,000 yesterday. Not a major issue of course but I wondered if you had any ideas?

Last night I deleted a few threads that had previously been locked. It made perfect sense to me at the time, I swear ...

I don't know, like I said, now that I think about it I can't recall the sense it made to me last night when I really should have been in bed ... housekeeping? I don't know.

Sounds fine to me, Ben. When I was a mod, much of my job was picking up trash late at night so the place is clean and neat next day. If some dog shits in the corner, you wouldn't want to leave it laying around for guests to see.

Yeah, I'm stitching together my reasoning from last night now that I've had my coffee -- two of our most-active threads showing up in the right-hand column were titled "Attention Ben" and "Why Can't I Post?" that had been locked for a long time. I think the idea, especially after seeing the thread on Farage's position on relaxing gun laws start up with debate again, was to prune from that list some topics that weren't going to be commented upon anymore. If that makes sense.

Ive had trouble a couple of times since I've been back about 8ish my time when trying to reply to post (mostly to didge sorry darlink MWAH) and when I hit send it says I am not logged in and I cant save the post, I get over emotional, yell at junior, glug some wine and think feck it, cannot be arsed.
Do sort it out Benni there's a lovely pickle x
