Man blinded in one eye after Doncaster attack 23 March 2014

A man has been left blind in one eye after an attack in Doncaster.

South Yorkshire Police said he was assaulted by a number of people just before midnight on 17 March and was left with serious injuries.

The 31-year-old was attacked in Ramsden Road, Hexthorpe, at the junction with Laughton Road.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and a woman aged 41 on suspicion of criminal damage. Police are hunting for two men.

One is described as a white man in his early 20s, of medium build, about 6ft tall, with short dark hair.

The other is described as white, more than 6ft tall and of muscular build, with short dark hair that was brushed forwards.

Both the women have been bailed pending further inquiries.
