Just the difference in this country in 50 years is proof of that cheers

I think people learning and becoming more educated on certain things has helped. How easy it must have been to be racist, xenophobic and homophobic when you didn't have many foreign or black friends and most gay people remained shut up in the closet- suddenly there is more integration, more people have friends who are not ethnically British and know at least one gay person- and we aren't the demons they thought we were- ignorance is the cause of bigotry, and the wonderful fact is that it just isn't easy to remain ignorant anymore (though some still manage haha) sunny
