Has Anybody Here Ever Voted Lib Dem?
8th March 2014
I've only ever met 1 single person who said he voted Lib Dem - a young guy from Devon who proclaimed "I live in Devon, the rest of the country doesn't matter to us down there so I just vote Lib Dem".
Anybody here vote or ever voted for them?
What are your reasons?

Once or twice when I was in my parents ward, It was when and where Margaret thatcher's Willie was standing proud and any vote other than the Lib/Dem's or was it the old Lib's had no chance of wilting the mighty Willie.BigAndy9 wrote:8th March 2014

Girl Andy?
Yes I have always voted Liberal Democrat in General Elections (though tbf I've only voted in 2. I still think Charles Kennedy would have made a wonderful Prime Minister.
Some reasons?
Well their policy to scrap Tuition Fees (and even in government though they went back on that, they still helped negotiate a situation which is now better than that under Labour in terms of how the Fees are paid over time).
Lowering the top tax threshold- something they have put into action in government.
Pro-EU stance.
Top tax rate of 50% which is something I agree with; as well as the mansions tax.
No renewal of Trident.
Very good record on equal rights for Gay people.
-Also from a 'what alternative?' pov; we have the destructive Tories; and a Labour party who play for headlines and have no direction.
-I will almost certainly be voting Liberal Democrat again in 2015, and think the best 'realistic' outcome in a Lib/Lab coalition

Mansion tax now that's really well worked out not.
