Multiple IDs

First topic message reminder :

Ben, don't know what you think of multiple IDs.

Fred Bloggs did a post to me, I replied, got a reply from him and replied again, because the second reply was actually from Phoenix, but showed they were the same person. He then removed the post quickly.

Do you have a policy on multiple ids?

Eddie I am not for banning anyone, what I am asking you do to do is picture if it was your house in that situation, what would you do, if someone was not only insulting guests, but blatantly ignoring and you kicked them out for doing so and had not even bothered to apologise. There is no way you would go okay and then let them stay, so in Ben's defense is it wrong that he should not seek to at least have an apology from Drinky, as otherwise the defense he made against such homophobic insults becomes redundant.

I more than many want Drink here because I think he is a great debater, but he should have the decency to say sorry and just move on and I am sure Ben would accept that.

As to me, was it fair, to them who banned me I guess it was, to me or others no, that is irrelevant, because it was not my forum, just like this is not anyone's forum but Ben's

So again see the point being made, would you thus go back after kicking someone out of your party and allow someone to stay making a mockery of you kicking them out in the first place, losing face in front of your guests?

Didge, once again, I can't answer that specifically because forums and real life are different.
So I'll answer it like this:

If someone was rude in my house like that, I'd either kick them out or ask them to shut up or let the him and the person he was abusing argue it out (eventually one will tire first).

If I had a forum though, I would not kick anyone out unless they did either of these two things:
a) posted paedophlia (sp?)
b) posted personal info about someone else

That's it Didge...we are all responsible for what we post, and I love a laugh and shit, but then it comes to mocking people's RL situation and ill health etc,,,then poor sport as Scrat would say...and as you mention , without an apology to and coming in the back door five times.

All Drinky has to do is apologise those whose sad situation he has mocked..and try to stick by that and all can be well.

I'll just take this opportunity to remind everybody that I'm also the user Ramblin' Rodriguez -- but I only created that ID to see what the site looks like for a member-level user (admins have little moderating tool icons that show up). And yes, RR has been banned -- wanted to see what that looked like too  ::D::

So they're allowed as long as there's no bullying? I really don't like multiple accounts at all.

Drinky was actually ok as a mod on ADO and so was kaka. I never ever saw either of them cross the line between being a poster and a mod.

Probably wouldn't hurt, but as I say, I don't know of anyone else doing it.

Yes that is it, loads of PM's were found on the guest bit and made for funny reading, I am king caught them out, fair play to Drinky he owned up for sending PM's, which was not that bad, all it was about was advising how to up your points, but it made for hilarious drama

That's correct for me as well. I had big issues with both of them but as far as moderation went they didn't let anything said as posters cloud their judgement with modding the place.

I think you should provide examples of these "rapid changes" in style/grammar/spelling/foulness/demeanour.

Let's start with spelling. What have I spelt differently in different posts? Please link to those posts.
