Days out.
Care to share any good days out, places to visit, tourist attractions you have visited that you think others may enjoy?

Re: Days out.
I will start with this one....been there today and I would really recommend it for a pleasant and interesting afternoon out.
It would also be a great present to give to someone who enjoys wine....(and food)
A guided informative tour of the vineyard with wine tasting (white, red and rose) followed by one of the best afternoon teas I have tasted.
Set in beautiful surroundings, accommodation and full restaurant service available if you wanted to make a longer stay of it.

Re: Days out.
Sounds lovely!
English wine is getting top reviews at the moment, the sparkling whites are being said to be better than champagne!

Amazingly English wines are now rated 5th in the world....not bad for a country that cant rely on weather.
Holmfirth vinery cant produce sparkling wine, it just hasn't worked out, possibly because it's not south facing, and obviously Yorkshire is colder than the south of the country.

Re: Days out.
Honestly, over the last two to three years with trying to get Ben his visa and working 40 plus hours a week then lockdown and now getting over lockdown finances and finding Ben work etc...days out have been a mile away for us.

Re: Days out.
That said, I recently saw a photo of the castle in Edinburgh and I'd love to see that in person some day soon.
Re: Days out.
Am recently back from spending time with my family
Stayed with my brother Pete and got to see many of my family
I recommend everyone to go to the Yorkshire dales
I have been many years ago, but this time with family was that much special
Its beautiful and tranquil
Its a better cure for any stress, any person may feel
Trust me on this
It was eye opening
