Off to Paris for three days
Back Sunday
Got to go all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower
If you see a nutty woman on the news clinging to the lift doors and refusing to come out......
That'll be me.
Ah revoir and Mange tout!
See you Sunday

Go to the Auld Alliance Scottish pub. It's in the Rue François Miron. That's where Ulrika and Stan had their big fall out

Please have your photo taken walking out of a quaint bakery with a paper bag in your arms that has a baguette sticking out of the top.

I would agree with that Eilzel
As places go like London, it has many historical beauties to see. I have enjoyed many a trip there and to me the most knackering was climbing the spiral stairs of the Sacre-Coeur, but it was worth it.
As night life goes, Paris sucks

ah I get you. To be honest Hon ive seen way worse on here and other forums, even the nightly news. I think veya has put up a warning which is good.
to be frank in my opinion its turned into a playground pissing match with both sides behaving in a crass manner and I'm not even bothering to look anymore (you can tell from the thread titles) as its beyond boring. a shame really as both sides can put across valid points when they can be adults.
Anyhoos hope eds remembered to bring back my croissants this time. they have this inability to make it over here. for some strange reason.
I am having probate with that email account. will try again tomorrow. xx

I have been debating most of the points only for Sassy to avoid debating them and to me she is a nasty Jew hater.
I find your views on cooking completely dull but do I come out and say it?
Only now because you claim some subjective view point on what is boring to you.
Nobody does ask you to read them or judge the people debating them.

You are more than welcome, this is not the first time you have been bitchy and judgemental about other posters you were not involved in the debate with.
This was a really nice thread untill turn it into slagging off others.
I apologise to Eddie that now I have have done the same, but I will not sit by when someone cowardly not involved in these deabtes, makes such sly comments about me.

It has been noted about the picture of which I only posted one of which I have stated I will warn in future. I fail to see why you and Cass have to make such bitchy comments which will entice response, which then leads to fights. That is intellectual dishonesty at its best.
As stated the picture has been adressed yet you continue to bitch about others in a debate neither of you are involved in.
These comments could have been made privately as it seems most of the rest of your post is private in regards to emails.
So you have made your views now, great, now allow the rest of us to continue to debate whether you like it or not.
That article about more women being bitchy is so true its beyond belief.

Re: Off to Paris for three days
Anyway Paris was beautiful as usual, probably my favourite City in the entire world.
Went up the Eiffel Tower and called the guy selling champagne from his little booth, a looney.... Fancy doing that for a living!!! He must have nerves of steel.
The best view, imo, is from the top of the Arc de Triomph looking straight down the Champs Élysées
Our hotel was stunning, and was only available to pedestrians due to it being next door-ish to the American Embassy....so there were hunky armed french policemen at either end of our little road.
Lovely, polite doorman too, and the hotel made our daughter a little travel journal which she loved!
She did ask, rather loudly, "When are we going up the Awful Tower?"

Re: Off to Paris for three days
No croissants Cass.... Well I did bring some but I ate them.
I did bring back those enormous bulbs of garlic - nothing like french garlic!
Didn't have time for museums, I really wanted to, but we spent two bloody hours queing for the Catacoombs and then another hour walking through them - absolutely hated it!!! All those bones - not my thing tbh
We only had two full days really - and the Eiffel tower and Catacoombs took the whole of Saturday!
France is so expensive too! Had brekkie in the hotel and was charged 68 euros for a few eggs and toast and fruit!
