His sense of humor isn't for everyone. Same as George Carlins wasn't, at least when he was alive.

I didn't agree with everything Carlin said, but his comments about government caused me to think. Thinking is good.

And much like Carlin, JP has become more political due to censorship. I guess it's a form of blowback. He doubled down when Facebook and YouTube started taking down his satirical approach to some current events, increasing his popularity.
