DONALD TRUMP is reportedly planning to remain in the White House even after Joe Biden is inaugurated this January.

Trump has yet to acknowledge defeat in the US presidential elections and according to one report he is ready to ramp up his protest by squatting in the White House.

Biden is due to take the oath of office on January 20. However, an unnamed adviser says Trump has claimed he won’t leave.

Whether he goes through with his alleged plan remains to be seen with the inside source telling CNN they remained skeptical over whether he would actually follow through on the plan.

"He's throwing a f****** temper tantrum. He's going to leave. He's just lashing out," they said.

Just my opinion, but: It depends on what one means by "leave".

Trump won’t place his actual person in the thick of battle.  He rarely exposes himself or puts himself in the middle of the fray.  He leaves that to proxies.  I suspect that he'll be in Florida on January 20, while still refusing to "leave the White House".  He'll switch to saying he’ll not physically remove himself, to claiming he won’t abandon his ‘right’ to the White House.

He'll claim he is still president, even though the 20th Amendment mandates that he vacate the position.  He will have to change his mantra from the election was rigged to I actually won!  It's a technical modification, but the Constitution says the term of the previous president is over at noon on January 20th.  In order to claim that he fits within the parameters of the 20th Amendment, he must emphasize his role as a winning, and thus continuing president.

It would be exciting but its not happening. Trump spouts all sort of nonsense that he never follows through with.

Yeah. They met about a week ago. Its over.

And yes, this election was quite the shit show.

I miss the old days when you just went to the polls and voted. They count those votes and we know the answers pretty quickly.
