Should a religious ...
Leader need a good salary?, I've though about this a few times, and of course they need to eat like the rest of us, but should large salaries for some religious leaders be necessary?
If they are men of God then surely the wage is not as important as one's belief in God?
Surely a man of God would do God's work for less?, is it Money before belief with some or have I got it wrong?.
Would some religious leaders still be in the job they are of some of the wages (stipend) were not so high?
Having said that the higher wages tend to be for Bishops and Priests , who can earn as much as £80,000 or so
But those priests on such good pay may well not be in their profession had the salaries not been so good..

I think they should have a living wage but when i see church leaders with ranches, with thousands of acres, their own airplanes, multi cars etc.. i think things have gone wrong...

That is right Favva!!!!!!!!
One religious man can make a stash of cash...another religious man can make a pittance, they both worship God, so who should get heaps more in salary ?..none of them should, I accept they have to eat , drink and live like the rest of us, I never knew God would would wish for one of his worshippers to earn far more than the other.

It would normally be paid from collections or tithes and offerings...

Hmmm, not sure I would call these Church Leaders to be honest Heavenly Father. Sounds more like a brainwashing cult perhaps?
