I expected a stronger showing up North for Bernie.
He's gotta win California and Texas to keep this from getting away from him.
Bloomberg is doing a little better than I expected. I thought most Dems considered him a Republican.

Better than expected but still pretty bad. I'd say he should drop out, but that'd only help Biden
Looks like Pete and Amy dropped out and selling out has given Biden a huge last minute boost, otherwise he'd have run away in the North.
Sanders needs Warren to drop out now (and she really should) otherwise it isn't looking good.
Trump would absolutely maul Biden.

Looks like Bernie is going to win Texas and Colorado. California may take a week to count, because, well it's California.
Bernie seems to be doing well with Hispanics (who aren't Cuban). My Hispanic friends seem to be breaking towards him.
Bernie still has issues with the Black folks. Or at least compared to Biden. I think Biden wins them simply by being Obama's choice for VP.

And yes, while many Reps want Sanders over Biden, I think that's dumb. Sanders can hold his own, regardless of his ideology. Biden doesn't even know what day it is half the time. It's sorta an embarrassment for the Dem party if you ask me.

It really is. Kind of unbelievable they put so much stock in him
And yeah, it's sad that simply by VPing for a black president is enough to convince so many people he stands for you.

Well known radio host, comedian and cage fighting commentator Joe Rogan has been swinging his public support behind Bernie Sanders' campaign this year :

Biden is middle-of-the-road. People are tired of the drama and destruction of a Trump, and/or a perceived extremist on the left.
Remember, it all started with southerners...I'm speaking of South Carolina, most extreme state in the south (recall, S. Carolina started the civil war). Then it was a herd-like stampede until California, which thinks for itself. California is the grand prize, with 415 delegates. Ergo, we've got Biden vs. Sanders.
Personally, I think it was a mistake for Steyer to withdraw before super Tuesday. He was the last remaining mensch running, and I'm thinking California would have gone for him had he been available. After all, he's a native son.

Wasn't Reagan often a bit confused?Maddog wrote:And yes, while many Reps want Sanders over Biden, I think that's dumb. Sanders can hold his own, regardless of his ideology. Biden doesn't even know what day it is half the time. It's sorta an embarrassment for the Dem party if you ask me.
Quite noticeable by the time he started his 2nd term.
It was as if the full blown dementia he finally developed after retirement, was already showing early signs.
(Very long time ago, I was in high school - but I remember the press commenting on it.)

Yes, he had alzheimer's. Which led to the men around him, coasting with the power...and subsequently led to GWB, no brains tool of the Republicans, who was led around by the nose by ex-Reagan aides.
Which paved the way for Trump, no brains tool with alzheimer's, being led around by an ex-communist spymaster human trafficker. Stay tuned...

Reagan left office with diminshing mental abilities. He didn't start his second term with them. 4 years after Reagan left office he was mentally gone. Where will Biden be four years from now, considering how he's been slipping the last four?
And Biden had a stroke or an anureism and almost died years ago.
He should have ran in 2016. He's not up to the job anymore.

No one knows. I think he's showing a lack of energy, but not a lack of mental acuity. That's Trump.

Hoag Report wrote:Biden describes his 1988 rupture in his book: A sudden piercing headache, followed by loss of consciousness. The lucky part is he was able to regain consciousness, fly home, and get checked out, which is when blood was discovered in his spinal fluid, and a brain scan found the aneurysm: In fact, two (about one in five aneurysm carriers have more than one). Biden’s aneurysm event was more of a leak than a burst. Brain surgery where a small clip obliterates the aneurysm and saves the parent artery led to his full recovery.

Still, a younger candidate would not have to face the fact.

Steyer was never really is the race. And Sanders isn't even an extremist in real terms. His M4A plans aren't even radical when compared to, say, the NHS.

Re: Super Tuesday
I agree about Sanders. He's not as far left as they say. That's why I said Sanders is "perceived extremist" on the left.
I disagree with you on Steyer. Steyer started his "Impeach Trump" campaign long before the presidential race. Plus, he's a billionaire, and did not lack money. Donno why he dropped out..it wasn't for lack of enthusiasm. Someone got to him.
Steyer is a San Francisco liberal, and he would have been perfect to go up against Trump, step no. 1. But, he has the stuff for step no. 2, which is to start programs on climate and healthcare. Add to that, he's a mensch...not excited and wild-eyed like Sanders, nor sleepy like Biden...just methodical while he crushes the hollow mouth of Trump.
He got out just before the west coast voter 'muscle' was about to flex...why? California, with 415 delegates, would have given him the immediate delegate count he needed. Maybe Perez or someone got to him and demanded he stop splitting the vote. But for my money, he's the best candidate to become president...Sanders and Biden should back off and stop splitting the vote.
