Songs that remind you of a person, place or time, Part 2
This one is for eddie. The chorus is my truth.
Re: Songs that remind you of a person, place or time, Part 2
In my 20s I got an old used record player and raided this little vinyl shop for all the music it had that I wanted.
Mostly rock and soul, a little country, but some classical as well. I was introduced to Debussy in university and this was all they had by him.
I played that scratchy 45 and heard something beautiful but not still; something that would far sooner intrigue you than lull you to sleep.
I like the name, too:

Playing the very minute I met the ex love of my life
And damn I should've listened to the words.
Still a great song though.

My dad LOVED Paint it Black, he was a huge Stones fan. Great song!
When I think of the Vietnam War I always associate it with All Along the Watchtower by Hendrix.
