Fragility Alert - Do Millennials Need to Know About WWII? | Good Morning Britain
This week's episode of The Apprentice has caused controversy this week as contestants admitted that they didn't know when WWII began. Former Chief OFSTED inspector Sir Michael Wilshaw and Freddie Bentley debate whether or not millennials need to know more about British history.

Wouldn't you expect there to have been far more mental health issues during and just after the wars than now with the peace this country has mostly enjoyed. Where have all these young people come from - Midwich?
We seem to keep telling everyone whatever they feel or have happen to them, isn't in anyway normal (except for very serious issues of course) means they are or will have their mental health compromised.

I'd like to know what proportion of the total "millenials" demographic in Britain is actually composed of these ignorant and fragile petals likely to implode at any moment ?
It would be all too easy to focus on a few nutters ready to slit their wrists yesterday, and extrapolate from that to fallaciously claim that "all" millenials were therefore doomed to follow down that path..

As an unrelated sidenote:
Often it appears that many "counsellors", psychologists, therapists and teachers are more interested in drumming up business by creating new 'problems', than dealing with actual existing problems themselves.
A few years ago I saw some psychologist/counsellor in the NSW Dept of Education on TV, claiming that there had been an "increase" in students experiencing or witnessing 'bullying' by other students to "38% of school students"..
Considering that when I was at high school in the 1970s that figure was more likely to have been 80% or more , I saw that as a decrease in real world terms !!! Certainly there has always been a need to remove bullying from schools and workplaces, and society in general -- but starting your campaign off by claiming that 38% is an "increase" on 80% really doesn't help one's cause..
