Cowardly loser Farage isn't standing as an MP in the general election. I guess played 8 lost 8 would be just TOO embarrassing.

Pretty humiliating for him PMSL
He likes running his mouth in the European Parliament though, feeling like Captain England against those pesky evil Eurocrats
I honestly think the man might not ever have really wanted the UK out of the EU. He makes a career on attacking it and makes a lot of money as a result. He probably shat himself when his side won in 2016 and knows now he can sabotage Brexit by standing against the Conservatives.

The Brexit party came 1st in the EU elections... by a huge number of votes!!!

Perfectly true, but you're not taking into account the hitherto unknown factors of Brexit fatigue and public uncertainty, Tommy.
I myself am still unashamedly a leaver, based purely on my own knowledge and professional experience of the subject, but I detect a considerable change of heart among a substantial number of people in the previously overwhelmingly Brexit-supporting constituency in which I live.
All this farce has done for me is for me to question the actual importance and value of casting a vote on anything in the future.

All the shenanigans and gerrymandering have just made people I know to be more resolute in wanting to get a proper Brexit!
