Re: Keith Vaz
He somehow arranged for a charity to make the money payment directly from the charity to the rent boys...!
Which was arranged to be passed off by the charity as a payment being made for some other sort of official/legitimate reason for payment from the charity to these rent boys...
I would be interested in the reason why the police & parliament & news media have largely ignored this important aspect of what happened...!!!???

Re: Keith Vaz
Surely this was a fraudulent misuse of charity funds and therefore a criminal act...!?
Also... shouldn't there be a criminal investigation into establishing exactly who the people were, who were involved within this charity, in the authorisation of making the fraudulent payment to these rent boys...!?

An embarrassment to Labour is when they puppy-dog along, behind conservatives. Blair was an embarrassment to Labour.
A return to positions is a good thing.

If the Labour Party were about to return to its "previous" (for which read "traditional") position it might well be a good thing, but under the present leadership it has moved to the ultra hard Left. And I do mean "ultra hard."
Why do you think so many of the party's best former MPs have left?
Under people like Dan Jarvis or Yvette Cooper a change could well have been beneficial. If they take power under Corbyn (who is simply a charismatic though not very intelligent puppet and useful idiot to the unashamedly Marxist/Communist Momentum faction) this country will be deeply, deeply in the shit.

Well, we will soon see whether British people are desperate enough for "extreme change" to elect an avowed Marxist and supporter of terrorists, who owes his present position to an unelected and extremist faction that attempted to "persuade" Labour-loyal dissenters at the time of the leadership election through a policy of harassment, intimidation, social media trolling including death threats and rape threats against female sitting MPs and on one notorious occasion a physical attack on the constituency HQ of a well-respected Labour Party personality.
Under Corbyn's leadership the party has become blatantly racist in the form of disgusting antiSemitism, and the so-called "official and independent inquiry" into those allegations by a "leading legal personality" resulted in a total whitewash...and the elevation of the "leading legal personality" to a peerage and a position in the current shadow government.
You think US politics can be dirty?

Both Corbyn and McDonnell have openly said that they are supporters of Marxism. It doesn't get much plainer than that.
Corbyn invited IRA members to the House of Commons after the faction had attempted to assassinate Margaret Thatcher and her cabinet. He has consistently refused to condemn IRA bombers who have killed people,
Corbyn describes Hammas as his "friends" and was a wreath layer at a ceremony to honour the terrorists who killed members of the Israeli Olympic team.
Trash-mouthing? You are seriously deluded, my friend.

No, what Corbyn said is: Marx is my hero. I, too, studied Marx in pursuit of my doctorate. Marx was one of the most brilliant of social theorists, merging economic theory with political theory. He was an Hegelian, so his work is in the realm of fantasia. But he certainly sussed out capitalism. Marx, Das Kapital (1883).
You old-timers make Marxism out to be bug-a-boo, like a witch hunt. You link Marx with Bolshevism, and tell scary stories about Russian goblins and Muscovy ghosts.
Scary stuff. But Marx was just a rumpled old man, with a bushy beard--a member of the London socialist club. But voters will not be convinced of the ills of Corbyn by hearing, “Don’t vote for Labour because he is a Marxist”. Such terminology means very little to most thinking folk, and it's a turn-off to the younger voter.

Oh yes...."old news", "move on"....Corbyn and his Momentum backers will have no impact on you other, I suspect, than to cause unbounded joy at a victory for the far Left, but I very much doubt whether the British Jews who are being trolled, threatened and abused by this vile bunch of antiSemites will have much cause to shrug off his dealings and obvious support for radical Muslim terrorists.
Try asking the then pregnant Luciana Berger MP who had to be escorted by police into the 2018 Labour Party conference because of the threats that had been made against her. What's your message to her? "Don't be silly, Luciana. Move on."
Try asking other Jewish MPs who are standing down because they are afraid of the threats and abuse leveled at both them and their families. Oh, move on, move on...it's only old news.
And why the dismissive "pffft" about the Irish? Do you think that extremist Republican gunmen have transmogrified into harmless little leprechauns in funny green hats? More fighting? More murders? More kneecapping? Oh, move on, move on. IRA terrorists? Pffft.
Perhaps you'd like to see Ulster and its people forced into the ROI against their will.
Perhaps you'd like to see the Scots secede from the United Kingdom - because that is the price that the Scottish Nationalists will demand in return for their support of a - God help us - Corbyn government.
If you, Quill, wish to see a bunch of anti-Semite Marxists steering us towards the break up of the United Kingdom to suit the needs of their own rotten party I don't. And I suspect that I am far from being alone.
But never mind...it's all old news. Pffft....just move on.

It's a stretch to go from Marx to antisemitism. If antisemitism were a real concern of your's, why would you start out using Marxism as a denigration? Karl Marx was a Jew.
I think you are a victim of the old anti-marxist taboos from the 1940's and 1950's. Such sentiments date you, and make modern voters roll their eyes. Modern voter ->

Re: Keith Vaz
Marx was born into a Jewish family and culture. Judaism is not just a religious subscription, but as Germans and Polish Jews in the 1930's found out, a culture.
Karl Marx was a member of that culture. He was far from antisemitic.

Anyone who believes that antiSemitism does not exist in the Labour Party, including in its higher echelons and among its hard line Marxist/Communist/whatever you wish to call them Momentum paymasters, is a naive fool.
And before you tell me that Momentum founder Jon Lansman is Jewish, so were some of the most brutal SS concentration camp capos.
If Corbyn, McDonnell, Milne, et al are so keen on living in some imaginary Socialist utopia they are quite at liberty to fuck of to somewhere like Cuba or even Corbyn's dream state Venezuela...and if there's going to be a leaving collection for them I will happily contribute. Generously.
Yes I may be dated, but I am not a "victim", as you put it, of any taboos from the 1940s and 1950s..I lived through those times and I was a a serviceman and reservist for part of them.
And so called "modern voters" can roll their eyes all they want...in fact maybe that's why Corbyn and McDonnell seem so keen to give the vote to children.
