It's actually been a perfect day for me as well! Have to say, I've enjoyed the shit out of this day. It started fantastic (eh edds?) and just kept going.

I'm here to say the English sun can burn you just like the Texan sun can, but man, it was gorgeous. A friend asked if the weather felt hot to me as a Texan, and I had to admit, in Texas, the weather we had would be considered perfect. And we'd have had it in late March as well
Re: It's such a perfect day...
We dont get that many, but I think when we do get a gorgeous day like today (and the next few days too fingers crossed) there is nowhere on Gods green earth nicer.
I may be biased though.
Share that with the people you love....bliss.

Re: It's such a perfect day...
I’m working Saturday on a really hot day. That sucks.
I had a nice day too, it was my day off (that’s why I’m working Saturday) and I got to watch my daughter at her school sports day. She had a great time, especially with the boxing class...got to say, she seemed to enjoy learning how to do uppercuts.
She’s gonna beat her older brother’s arse now.

I had a great day and had the day off. Which i should have spent sleeping, as I have not been able to sleep properly the last couple of nights. Had about a couple of hours at most. So that really is a cue for me, to get my arse off to bed.

Night everyone,
Yeah, Ben and I can get like that when we are together, then we need to catch up on sleep badly. Lack of sleep sucks.
Hope you sleep well.

Can you take a photograph tonight and post it Quill? There is nothing more beautiful than a perfect sunset.
We have paid good money in places like Santorini to go on sunset cruises, or sat in remote restaurants somewhere abroad which boast of the most beautiful sunsets, but to be absolutely honest, the best ones we have seen have been in our own kitchen, sat at our own kitchen table.
I have taken some pics but they never do the real thing justice.

The most beautiful sunsets in the world are seen from Gates Pass, just west of Tucson.

34°C == nice balmy spring day...
They were predicting some parts of Europe could hit 45°C this week ?
Those Europeans won't know what hit them -- they could think they're in Texas (or Oz in January/February..) !

Well it's sunny now so there.
We were promised a lovely weekend, it was thick cloud and not very warm, but at least it was dry.
I was looking after 2 children, a 5 year old and a 10 year old (sons partners kiddies) for 5 days and 4 nights......I can tell you I am bloody knackered, I have got out of the habit of looking after and entertaining little ones, even gorgeous ones.... I am going to spend the day relaxing in the garden now (Manchester weather permitting)

You've got to be kidding, I thought it was perfect today! Maybe my Texan tolerance for heat hasn't been completely vanquished by this chilly island after all
In my breaking news reporter and sports editor/photographer days, I would sometimes have to work three, four hours outdoors when it was 40C/104F. Yes, it was hard and yes, I sweat through my clothes, but THAT'S hot to me, not days when it doesn't even reach 80F.
