Fort Worth is now the 13th-largest city in the United States, behind Jacksonville, Florida, and ahead of Columbus, Ohio, as well as San Francisco, according to the latest Census Bureau population estimates released Thursday.

“Fort Worth’s rapid growth speaks to our incredible quality of life, business friendly climate and affordable cost of living,” said Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price. “Of course, substantial growth presents both great opportunities as well as new challenges to strategically manage our growth without compromising what makes Fort Worth a unique place to live, work, and play.”

Do you know what is the worst part about this

Being that i have actually admitted to be wrong on a number of occasions. Having people reason views to me, showing I do listen and yet here we see Eddie and ben knuckle down and even insullt my intelligence. Claiming that what I argued had no relevance, to what Eddie highlighted. We see a view on sports. As if I was not even on the same page, as if a view that only she was right on this.

I guess we could start over. Does anyone have any insight as to why people are flocking to Texas to live?

If it was simply "the weather",  then Southern Queensland would be the fastest growing region in Oz,  while everybody would be deserting places like England, Russia, Greenland in droves..

That's obviously simply not the case, though..

So,  more relevant factors I would be looking at could be :  well paying employment, with job satisfaction, flexibility, decent work conditions;   comparatively "affordable" housing;   allied with reasonable standards of education, healthcare, recreation/sports facilities, tolerance  ?

I was being sarcastic about the weather. Most of California has far better weather, then most of Texas. But the reasons you mentioned, are exactly why people are leaving California, and moving to Texas.

Well, the above was the first chance I got to respond.  If you don't show up for a while, you get behind other postings, and other topics.

I usually go back to the last discussion that involved me.  Sometimes it appears like you are prolonging a discussion, when in fact it is your first chance to respond.
