'Hero' four-year-old girl kept her two-month-old baby brother alive for three days as their parents lay dead nearby after their father 'shot their mother then turned the gun on himself'
A four-year-old girl has been hailed a hero after she kept her two-month-old brother alive for three days after their father shot dead their mother before turning the gun on himself.
A neighbor discovered the two young children unharmed but dehydrated and hungry downstairs at the family's home in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles on April 14 as their parents' lifeless bodies sat in an upstairs bedroom.
A medical examiner identified the father as 46-year-old David Kooros Parsa and mother as 38-year-old Mihoko Koike Parsa.
Investigators determined that the murder-suicide likely took place three days prior on April 11.
'Our little angel was able to keep herself and her brother alive,' Los Angeles Police Captain Maureen Ryan said of the four-year-old.
'The baby is a miracle baby and the little girl is a hero. She's an absolute hero.'
At a news conference on Tuesday authorities said the children are in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services and are in good health.

It beggars belief that a parent can be so evil as to kill their partner knowing they are leaving their toddler and tiny baby alone in a house to fend for themselves.
I hope that little girl gets over the trauma of it eventually and finds love and peace as she and her brother grow up.

Chatsworth is in the valley, due north of Canoga Park. I would like to hear more of the story, but the authorities are trying to protect the little girls.
Thank god the neighbor happened by,

Certain parts of the valley are quite nice. Just to the southwest is Calabasas, and the elegant homes featured in The Kardashians. Rednecks couldn't afford it.
I was just trying to fix the socioeconomic status of these people, to try to put together the causes.

So which parts of California get to join your PSA? Just the "nice" areas, I suppose.

Well, all of California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawai'i. We will have to draft more progressive laws, and that will sort out the bad individuals. But yeah, California is core to the PSA.
Whatever or whomever is within the PSA is our challenge. We'd just rather be divorced from the south and the culture it entails. It's a simple statement: that's not us!

Probably saw the baby being bottle fed and decided to copy. Thank god she did. May the father rot in hell.

But she'd have to boil the milk, test the temp; etc , I think there's more to learn about this .

Could have just given water or milk from the fridge. They were indoors and it was just for 3 days, so chances are the baby would’ve survived anyways.
