At least eight people were killed [count may rise] in shooting Saturday morning at a synagogue in a Pittsburgh neighborhood known for its Jewish population, CBS Pittsburgh/KDKA reports. The gunman, only described as a white male, surrendered and was taken into custody, the station reports.

The suspect burst into the synagogue and indiscriminately fired in the building while shouting, "All Jews must die," police sources told KDKA.

Three officers were shot during the incident, officials said. The extent of their injuries are unclear.

Gov. Tom Wolf said he was heading to the scene of the shooting and would be providing first responders "with whatever help they need."

Trump tweeted that he was watching the situation unfold.

The synagogue is located on the corner of Wilkens and Shady Avenues. Authorities urged people to avoid the area. Squirrel Hill is a residential neighborhood located about 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.

Perp is a 46-year old man, Robert Bowers, who was injured, who surrendered to police.  Trump claims that if guns were inside the synagogue, this could have been prevented.  "The world is a violent world..."  Calls for "armed guards inside the Temple" as the answer.

I agree with Trump on this and if you are a Jew, this is the world they continually live in. They need to be armed, as they more than an ethnic or religious group is targeted world wide.

Israel constantly faces the threat of exhistance and Jews elsewhere face the very same and this has gone on for over 2,000 years and in countless eras of history and countless places. The antisemitism virus continues to mutate and sadly the world sits by and does nothing.

People constantly call Palestine David fighting against Goliath, but Jews living in Israel are David fighing the Goliath of the Arabic world. This then can be extended that Jews are inherantly unique today and have been for the last 100 years or so. That unlike others that face racial or religious hatred. They receive both and from both political spectrums. From the Far Right, the Far Left and religious Islamic extremists.

No such group, faces such hate from so many quarters and this has to stop.

Yet the world continues to pally up to extremists in the Middle East that wishes to see the extinction of Israel. This more than anything, shows why more than anything. A Jewish state is fundementally needed, for Jews to have sanctuary from an age old hate. That has simple never gone away. It just continually mutates

So can you explain to me, what on earth that has got to do with this murder of 8 Jews Quill and Trump?
