Dyson to build new electric car in Singapore.

Pro Brexiteer James Dyson is planning to build his new electric car in Singapore.
Is it a coincidence that Singapore have just agreed a new, beneficial trade deal with the EU, of which a Brexiteer UK will not be part of?

No real surprise there...
Dyson have had a vacuum factory in Malaysia for some decades -- that's where they produce machines for their Asian, Pacific and American markets..
Producing a car in Singapore makes sense from the point of being closer to their biggest growing potential markets.
Plus, they probably got better offers of assistance from the Singapore government. Margaret Thatcher fucked over Britain's manufacturing base back in the 1980s, and no government since have done anything to rectify her messes, have they ?

If Margaret Thatcher hadn't tamed the Unions at that time, we would have no manufacturing at all except that witch was "Union Approved ".
