San Francisco is swiftly moving from one of America’s most beautiful cities to one of America’s most troubled cities. The city struggles with crime and the consequences of illegal immigration after declaring themselves a “sanctuary city”. The transit authorities (BART) recently announced they would stop providing video evidence of violent attacks on public transportation so as not to “bias” citizens against certain ethnic groups.

Most recently, San Francisco has joined Los Angeles and San Diego as three of the major cities that have caused Governor Jerry Brown to declare a state of emergency due to a Hepatitis A epidemic currently brewing in each location.

The outbreak can be directly tied to the homeless problem in California, which is only exacerbated by a constant flow of liberal policies that make removing homeless encampments difficult and even allow for the homeless to set up camp in places like the front lawn of Los Angeles City Hall and other public parks.

San Francisco, in particular, has a problem with the homeless defecating and urinating in public (and private) areas.

I've been to England twice now, which I bet is more time than you've spent in America, Tommy.

You know what I've seen? Vast open tracts of green land, when the English here keep saying your country is literally jam packed with people.

I've been to London, had plenty of room to move around in, didn't get stabbed once.

Outside of the cities the amount of countryside actually reminded me strongly of rural Texas.

We need green spaces, the more the better and we need a lot more trees, what we don't need is more humans.

You saw one tiny part of London - Covent Garden - and nothing of where people actually live.

Well, they are in the long run if you want to keep an atmosphere and a habitable planet. The planet can get by very nicely without humans, humans can't without a friendly planet. Even Stephen Hawkins had something to say about the tide of humanity.
We are becoming more automated, people are becoming surplus to requirements in so many areas, why do we need more than, at least, we already have. Why not encourage fewer people, our resources are already dwindling, it'll take years, centuries to replenish aquifers and rain forests, so many things are gone forever. Wouldn't less people to share resources make everyone's life better.

The Brits have a much different perception of planning and use of space.  They rather like to hug one another in the way they put houses practically on top of each other.  Common walls are the norm, whereas in the US that only happens in places like Manhattan.  In the US, a home has yards all around it, and the effort is to keep neighbors at a distance, as much as they may be welcome.
