Jews are not Indigenous to Israel, their OWN holy book tells of them coming from Egypt and Stealing the land from the Indigenous
this is why you are a fucking Joke, DO you EVEN think ???? do you think people are so stupid they have never heard of Moses?
pretty fucking Stupid and Racist to even pretend to claim 'Indigenous' after 2 and a bit thousand years and the majority of that time NOT being there. that is Offensive to the real Indigenous peoples that have 10,000's of years unbroken connection to their lands. This is why Zionism Needs to be Fought against as it is just Lies and deceit to cause injury to those that REALLY deserve compassion.
AND genesis of What? A group that defines them selves as begin Chosen by a magic fucking sky giant there is NOTHING ZERO else that differentiates them from any one else... SO Even the concept of Jew 100% comes down to make believe fairytale BULLSHIT....
So you don't believe in a "magic fucking sky giant"...but untold millions of people, including me in my small way (being baptised into and educated by the Anglican church and now a very irregular Methodist communicant because I don't like robes, vestments and chalices), do so.
OK, WE can't prove that "God", in some form or another, exists. But can YOU prove that He (or SHE, or IT) doesn't?
The short answer is that no, you can't...because the concept of a "Creator", which is central to most theocracies, might even refer to a chemical reaction or a pretty awesome manifestation of the laws of physics without which the Universe - and you and I - would not exist.
So the Jews are not "chosen"? But they have just as much claim to the Holy Land as have the Arabs if we are to use history as a precedent. Only a fool would believe, in a literal sense, some of the stories in the Books of Genesis (though in recent years some pretty convincing scientific "explanations" have been formulated as to how events such as the parting of the Red Sea, the burning bush on Mount Horeb, the plagues of Egypt, etc. could actually have occurred) but those events are contained in Jewish tribal folklore, handed down through the generations, which even given the embelishments of story tellers and inaccuracies of subsequent translations, could well have some credence.
There is a very interesting hypoethesis on the plagues of Eygpt, which could be explained by a natural disaster
A massive Volcanic erutpion
There was such an eruption on the island of Thera, now called Santorini

I read your post this time because I have a specific interest in the subject, Didge.
You are right, though without referring to some of my long-unused source material, it began with an eruption which triggered off such plagues as locust infestation, crop failure, disease (ergot) from contaminated stored grain, red algae in the Nile, masses of displaced frogs, etc., etc.
Lots of fascinating theories. Interesting stuff.

Its not proven, but it should be researched further and why I will maintain an open mind on this
Its very interesting
You should read his books
He does many alternative history views. That are not far fetched but actually quite well researched. From the death of Alexander the Great to Religious bibilical claims
I have a number of his books and glad you share such an interest Fred

Atlantis and the Ten Plagues of Egypt : The Secret History Hidden in the Valley of the Kings
Shows how a desecrated tomb in the Valley of the Kings holds the key to the true history of the destruction of Atlantis - Reveals that Tomb 55 in the Valley of the Kings was designed not to keep intruders out, but to trap something inside - Provides forensic evidence proving that the mask believed to be the face of Tutankhamun is actually that of his elder brother Smenkhkare In Atlantis and the Ten Plagues of Egypt, Graham Phillips explores the excavation of a mysterious and ritually desecrated tomb in the Valley of the Kings, Tomb 55, which he contends holds the key to the true history of the destruction of Atlantis. Unlike other Egyptian tombs designed to keep intruders out, Tomb 55 was constructed to keep something imprisoned within, specifically Smenkhkare, the older brother of Tutankhamun who was deemed responsible for the ten plagues in Egyptian history, to prevent such tragedies from ever happening again. The forensic findings from this tomb coupled with compelling new evidence from the polar ice caps provide sensational evidence that the parting of the Red Sea, the deaths of the first born, and the other plagues that afflicted Egypt were all actual historical events. Core samples from the polar ice caps indicate that a gigantic volcanic eruption took place in the eastern Mediterranean around the time of Amonhotep's reign. Other research suggests this to have been the time of the eruption that destroyed the Greek island of Thera, one of the likely locations of Atlantis, and that the subsequent cataclysm may explain the unusual lack of resistance to the new religion installed by Amonhotep's son, Akhenaten, when he took power several years later.
