Neil Hamilton - UKIP
Attempting to become UKIP's new leader.

Good luck with that.
The 2% will soon shrink to 1%.

Re: Neil Hamilton - UKIP
Well... since UKIP forced the EU referendum and the British people gave clear instruction to govt to leave the EU, and as both tory & labour stood on the manifesto promises to leave the EU... all that should be happening now is that the whole of the HOC should be working towards ensuring the UK leaves the EU...!!!
Cos there are at least 17.5 million voters out there who are ready to vote UKIP if there is any more weaseling going on...!!!

Re: Neil Hamilton - UKIP
well what do you expect him to say
All he can do is agree with you that there is a LOT of Dumb British Hill shepherds. that will continue to vote to bash their head against the Brick wall of reality
the harsher the better, the old world needs a reality check and the UK has Volunteered to the be the crash dummy so we can't even have much sympathy for them since they voted to do it to themselves

Re: Neil Hamilton - UKIP
I think the Brits, rather than being the quaintly named 'hill shepherds' as you like to call us, voted based on their own life experiences, shocking everyone by not blindly listening to all the hype about which way they should vote...ie in.
All the gloom and doom from the losing side and their supporters has yet to happen.....and it probably never will....in spite of so many outsiders hoping it to be so.
By the way....the vast majority of people don't connect BREXIT with UKIP.
That's just a misconception that people who were for leaving are against immigration and immigrants....which is ridiculous.

Re: Neil Hamilton - UKIP
There are more than 66 million Brits hiding out over there...
The right whingers amd Brexiteers on here keep on claiming that 15.5 million "leave" votes represents a great majority of British citizens..
Pretty good maths there, folks ! When the sad fact appears to be that the largest group of potential voters couldn't even be bothered to get out of bed in time on polling day !

Yes, it's a new era. Putin is the capo di tutti capi, who calls the shots for all of them.

That's a cop-out. Let's say you want a candy bar. You go up to the vending machine, and all there are for choices are vomit and dogshit...if you starve, it's your fault because you didn't choose??
Better think it over.

What is wrong with you...!!!???
Either you are showing yourself as being a completely ill informed and ignorant fool who has no idea of the facts... or you are a complete liar!!!
Which is it...???
Here are the facts...
EU Referendum from BBC News. ... Turnout 72.2%
Total number of eligible registered voters
46,500,001
Total number of valid votes
33,551,983
Total number of LEAVE votes
17,410,742
Total number of REMAIN votes
16,141,241
Then if you look at how the UK voted regionally you see the LEAVE vote was an even bigger proportion...
Under the provisions of the European Union Referendum Act 2015 there were a total of 382 voting areas across twelve regions using the same boundaries as used in European Parliamentary elections since 1999 under the provisions of the European Parliamentary Elections Act 2002 with votes counted at local authority level: in England the 326 local government districts were used as the voting areas...
263 (68.85%) voting areas voting to "Leave the European Union" to 119 (31.15%) voting areas who voted to "Remain a member of the European Union"
And turnout was higher than most of the general elections of recent few decades too!!!

But, perfectly consistent, Vic. When you can't stand what is happening, cut and run and take as much as you can with you. That's what I'm doing with California, and it's what you are doing with Brexit.
The big difference is, you have to have a real and actual rift. Are you familiar with the big rift in Africa? The Grand Moray in Scotland? These are real divisions, which have visible distinctions.
Now, I realize that these are geographical features, but the same takes place in human affairs. The great rifts in geography foretell divisions that are inevitable. The great rifts in politics and society foretell divisions that are inevitable. Because human affairs happen much faster, by the Pacific States of America I am merely shepherding the inevitable.
I'm not some destructive child that wants to smash his toys. Rather, I'm making a serious, calculated decision about a social rift that is inevitable and unavoidable. America is two populations: 1) a rational and mercantile north, which has drifted through migration to the coasts; and 2) a tribalistic south, which rejects change and disrespects rational thought, and (through agrarian roots) has maintained in the agrarian heartland.
Be practical, as I am being. These two populations do not belong together. Fortunately, chance has offered to us a rare opportunity to rectify things. The west coast has pinched off connection with the east and central US, and has become prosperous community without need of any connection whatsoever.
Unfortunately, we have to wave goodbye to our friends on the east coast, but they'll survive as well. The main thing is, we separate from the "other" not-us population, and we all get to become (as Abraham Maslow predicted) "self-actualized" personalities in our own right. Each being what you must be, isn't that what it's all about? Historical chance must not rule us; we must all be what we must be.
