Why is it so quiet on here lately?
So many posters don't bother to post anymore......I know it's summer and the weather has been scorchio, but I have never known it this quiet on here before.

Re: Why is it so quiet on here lately?
Because so many of the Brit posters are conservative or UKIP Brexit supporters.
At present not something they are proud of and to be shouting from the rooftops.
The Goverment are making an omnishambolic clusterfuck of the deal.
And don't turn the debate to Cornyn and Labour.
They are in opposition and have no influence.
Their job is to question and challenge the incumbent party.
I have started a number of political /Brexit threads, most of which are ignored by the Tories here.

I always answer you on your brexit threads... but then YOU RUN AWAY!!!
Here's another thing you'll run away from...
Do you think that MPs should vote in parliament in a way that reflects the will of the majority of their constituents...?

Difference is The Conservatives are the government. They have to negotiate and formulate the plan.
Labour, as opposition, have little power, but are there to question and challenge the Government's mistakes.
They have plenty to go on

That's absolute rubbish.
Almost every thread you start has an agenda, usually about some long gone poster or another forum, and its you who never returns to answer points other posters make.
Not every thread is about politics anyway....and not every poster should be judged by their political leanings.
I have never voted Conservative in my life, find UKIP supporters to be rather extreme and pretty unpleasant....and did vote for brexit.
Make of that what you will.

Re: Why is it so quiet on here lately?
Take my Trump Foundation thread, for example. Widely reported in main stream media that the Trump foundation laundered money and misused it's charitable status - highly illegal and is now being sued. Trump and all his family. There appears strong evidence after a thorough 2 year investigation.
Of huge national and international importance.
Trump is now fighting laws suits on several fronts. His
Key advisers and former allies are turning against him to testify against him.
The most powerful man in the world.
Nicko joins the debate with a yawn.
Which just about sums him up.
If it ain't about illegal immigrants, Cornyn,, Brexit or nasty Muslims, he yawns.

I think you’ll find I’ve commented on those plenty of times.
Why do you do that thing, where you throw random accusations out without even really thinking about whether they’re true or not?

Re: Why is it so quiet on here lately?
Its quite, because some posters lead and entice people to debate.
If they are not online, then the forum has no starting point on debates.
Not being horrible either. Some here like to goad others. Some like to debate. Some like to back shit crazy leftist crap and also bat shit far right crap and its very easy to play onto this, to ensure they will engage in debate.
I simple post things that I know that will both interest people, make people smile (when I post good news) and also grind others, over beliefs that matter to them.
Its always about playing to the emotions of people for good or bad, that entices people to engage in debate

I try to get people engaged to debate. Sometimes, though, I would rather sit back and want others to do so.

Sorry?
Do you feel this way on every issue, or just this one?
People vote for many reasons and it does not mean they have to then back every view that voter has, does it?
Surely, you can grasp that Tommy?
I mean what a really warped way to think, as you are doing
What really has been betrayed here?
One issue?
Is that what you classed as betraying this country?
Its not like Corbyn, that wants to friends with every terrorist organisation that hates the west.
This is one issue that matters to many peoeple.
You saly think, people only voted on Brexit and only Brexit to elect an MP
I hope for your sake, that comes down and way down the list, as there are more important things.
I mean, the reality is, people are ruled with brexit on fears
Negative fears

Just an observation of course and of course there made be a valid reason also as to why you do subconciously or unconciously.
So if there is no sport. Then actually there is, as you did reply. As you actually were reeled in by a better player in wolf. He may come across as a verbal potty mouth, but he actually cares about animals. Though, I doubt you took care to take the time and find out, did you?

Thank you Syl, but its not really me, that engages debate
I may annoy people in what I say sometimes, but its more about what people believe, that makes them become agitated over their beliefs to then aplly this to debate.
As we see often on here. I try to make people challenge their own beliefs on something and that is what is difficult for posters, including myself. When subjects touch a nerve, then people become even more vocal. As they care about that issue. Its what is actually wrong with humans, are negative emotions. As we should play upon the good emotions that we have within us to combat all the hate in the world.
Thanks again though, as I am recovering slowly
