Fortunely, her employers and colleagues also think she is disgusting.

I think, when it comes to commercial TV, the companies have to be protective of their image.  Trump and the common right is so unpopular right now that any reference to their jokes and metaphors is bound to cost their sponsors money.  They can't have it.

every time this is mentioned in the press it is always about the trump supporting comedian.

however when harvey weinstein, alleged multiple rapist and abuser of women is mentioned they dont refer to him as hillliary clinton or obama supporting democratic alleged rapist
they don't show video of him being praised by Michelle or photos with hilliary. #Hypocrisy

There is no mass identification of Weinstein with HRC. Clinton never publicly promoted anti-female causes in the way that Trump promotes the racist cause. Indeed, Hilary Clinton is a female herself.

As I say, when it affects the bottom line--as it does for ABC, and it's owner, Disney Enterprises--you know as well as anybody that the $$$ will prevail.

Since the new morality doesn't come from the left, their conflict with big-time commercial TV has not yet happened.
