We had more ice on the roads last night -- two 16-year-old girls got hit by a skidding truck and one of them died. People around here don't have snow chains or anything, and it doesn't snow or ice up often enough for people to really learn how to handle it.

By the end of the week it's supposed to be getting up to 70 (21C).

That's awful Ben. We are supposed to be getting some tomorrow, in with the rain and wind and.. and.. and... !!!!!!!!!! It's never going to stop. Had sun for a couple of hours this afternoon, poor pooch had to be walked on the pavement, he wasn't amused.

crazy weather all over at the moment . Sad news about the young girls . I think snow chains are banned here in the UK , we could do with them though especially when the snow does hit us hard .

I hope it stays away to be honest it causes havoc in this country .

Rapidly getting worse now, we have a red warning for wind and possible blizzards.
Football matches cancelled, Lorry blown over, some areas losing power.
