Still, anything's possible : considering the way that everyone was bonking everyone acroos the Royal households of Africa, the Middle East and Europe over millenia, wot wiv all that raping and pillaging and stuff..

Considering there is little evidence of the existance of Muhammad and how even if he did. This would mean Muslims, would have to venerate the Royal family.

As they already do based on respect on ancestry, espcially with Shia Islam.

This is why religion is so fucked up, that now they looked to people of importance to carry the weight of bullshit beliefs.

I mean, we are all related, if we go back far enough.

It shows how, people need to elevate their beliefs and make them acceptable.

Well, I have no issue with people having beliefs, as long as they do not force them on others and effect the well being of others.

I don't know about Mohammad, but there is a school that says that the Queen is related to Jesus Christ.  That is the origin of the traditional laying on of the hands of the European royalty.

The story (painfully suppressed by the Roman Pauline Catholics) is that the Magdalin--Jesus' wife, Mary--was pregnant at the time of Christ's crucifixion.  We know that she subsequently moved to the Languedoc region in southern France, and was taken in by the Cathar Christian sect in the region.

The child, Sarah, having been born en route in Egypt, was treated with extreme reverence by the Cathars.  She was married into the ruling family (then) of France, the Merovingins.  From this family came most of the royal blood of Europe, including the de Guises of the period of the Valois Monarchy.

Marie de Guise married King James V of Scotland, and beget Mary, Queen of Scots.  Now, Mary was the subject of regicide by the English, however her son became James VI (Scotland) and I (England).

James Stuart and Anne of Denmark beget a beautiful daughter, Elizabeth, who was ultimately married to Frederick, King of Bohemia and Elector of Palatine.  The Stuart dynasty lasted until the English chased James II off the island, and turned the monarchy over to Mary and William, thereafter to Anne.  With the demise of the Stuart dynasty in 1714, Elizabeth's grandson succeeded to the British throne as George I of Great Britain, initiating the Hanover line of succession.

The Germans took over the British Monarchy, in a dynasty unbroken to the present day--still carrying the blood of Jesus (through Sarah) down to Elizabeth II.

Aren't a large number of people in Britain say, connected to the Royal Houses. Its seems every time I've watched 'Who do you think you are' they end up with a connection to the Plantaganets, however tenuous.

Well it wasn't actually turned over to the German's the next protestant in line happened to be the granddaughter of James the first of England who was Sophia of Hanover, who died shortly before Queen Anne so her son became the heir to the throne of England. So not altogether German, there's still English, Scots and Welsh blood in the line of succession along with the rest.

You are recounting other detail, not contradictory detail.  Remember, we are talking about the blood of Jesus, not strictly the British monarchy.  For economy sake, I simply jumped from Elizabeth to her grandson, George I.

Remember, perhaps more significantly, that there were several quarts of German blood in between, including Frederick, Sophia and Ernst August, Elector of Hanover...so that by the time it got to George I it was thoroughly German.

Moreover, the Monarchy has done all it can to keep it German: until George V (Mary of Teck) and George VI (Elizabeth Bowes), the family continued to marry German consorts (Elizabeth II married a Dane, Phillip)...only Charles (Diana) and William (Kate) have started breaking the tradition, marrying beautiful British women.

blood lines, through dynastic marriage so you can hardly say thoroughly German, not in that sense anyway. In one way you could say the Royal Houses are a clan of their own.

True. But we are not talking about every royal house in Europe. The British Monarchy has a devoted taste for German consorts, thus keeping exclusive German blood alive in their veins.

Fortunately, Charles and William have realized that the British lasses are not only cuter, but much brighter. Let's hope that continues.
