Catherine Fletcher maintained that not only was her husband an anti-Communist, but he had been asked to use his left-wing influence on behalf of Margaret Thatcher when she was Prime Minister to persuade Bettino Craxi to stand for the post of Italian premier.[1]"

So no evidence there.

Both have been suspected of spying for Russia

The funniest part about this thread is a Tory MP spying for Communism, as if he actually held Tory beliefs, when those beliefs were clearly a front to cover for his left wing beliefs.
