WATCH: Amb. Haley Says Hate-Filled Speech by Abbas Shows He’s Not Ready to Make Peace
Referring to a recent “hate-filled” speech given by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in which he declared the Oslo Accords dead, United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told the UN Security Council Thursday, “A speech that indulges in outrageous and discredited conspiracy theories is not the speech of a person with the courage and the will to seek peace.”
Haley, who was addressing the Security Council during its monthly meeting to address the Middle East, said that she would “set aside her usual practice” of highlighting the Iranian threat to the Middle East and instead address what she called the “important element” of making peace, specifically “leaders who have the will to do what’s needed to achieve peace.”
Haley cited the example of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, who addressed Israel’s Knesset and told Israel, “You want to live with us in this part of the world. In all sincerity, I tell you, we welcome you among us, with full security and safety.” The words, Haley said, made “Israel understand that it had a partner with whom it could make those painful compromises” that were necessary for a peace deal with Egypt.
In contrast, in his recent speech to the Palestinian Liberation Organization Central Committee, Abbas “declared the landmark Oslo Peace Accords dead. He rejected any American role in peace talks. He insulted the American President. He called for suspending recognition of Israel. He invoked an ugly and fictional past, reaching back to the 17th century to paint Israel as a colonialist project engineered by European powers.”
“A speech that indulges in outrageous and discredited conspiracy theories is not the speech of a person with the courage and the will to seek peace,” Haley observed. And while she said that the United States “remains fully prepared and eager to pursue peace,” which would require compromise, but “hate-filled speeches and end-runs around negotiations take us nowhere.”
In remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland as he met Thursday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Failing Cheeto-Faced Ferret-Wearing Shit Gibbon also put the onus for lack of progress in peace talks on the Palestinians. Trump said that significant aid money for the Palestinians “is on the table and that money is not going to them unless they sit down and negotiate peace.”

The Palestinian leadership have never wanted peace or a Palestinian state. They could have had it 5 times in history. Where they rejected peace and a state of their own. As they place hating Israel and continual conflict with them as more important than peace and a statehood. It proves that their leadership through history, has never cared for the Palestinian people. Again they place hating Israel, as more important.
They rejected the the 1937 Peel commision partition plan
They rejected the 1947 UN partition plan and immediately started a civil war within the mandate.
They rejected the peace plan in 2000 and a chance to have a fully independent state in the Camp David, They also at this point instigated the 2nd Intifada. Where many Israelies were murdered with suicide attacks and where Palestinians were killed
They rejected the 2008 peace plan.
They rejected the 2014 peace plan. Even though the US revised the peace plan ater the first rejection and did not tell Israel. Providing a much better deal for the Palestinians.

Olmert wanted to annex 6.3 percent of the West Bank to Israel, areas that are home to 75 percent of the Jewish population of the territories. His proposal would have also involved evacuation of dozens of settlements in the Jordan Valley, in the eastern Samarian hills and in the Hebron region. In return for the annexation to Israel of Ma'aleh Adumim, the Gush Etzion bloc of settlements, Ariel, Beit Aryeh and settlements adjacent to Jerusalem, Olmert proposed the transfer of territory to the Palestinians equivalent to 5.8 percent of the area of the West Bank as well as a safe-passage route from Hebron to the Gaza Strip via a highway that would remain part of the sovereign territory of Israel but where there would be no Israeli presence.

In June, Haaretz published a major investigative report (excerpted here) on the negotiations between Israel, the US and the Palestinians in 2013 and 2014.
The report shows that Netanyahu approved a framework, created by John Kerry and his team, that would have resulted in a Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines with land swaps. When it was presented to Mahmoud Abbas, he angrily rejected it.
When Kerry came back with a sweeter offer that addressed Abbas' concerns - without consulting the Israelis - Abbas never responded and let the talks die.
This story, published in an ultra-left wing newspaper, it the biggest news story of the year for Israel.
It proves that Netanyahu is far more flexible towards a two-state solution than any reporter has ever written. It proves that Abbas is more intransigent and uninterested in peace than any reporter is willing to admin

The Ambassador's premises are misplaced. No one wants peace in the middle east.
It's perpetual war.

Well thankfully, not many people take you seriously on such matters
