We couldn't care less about seeing your baby photos, say two thirds of Brits
They are notoriously hard to avoid and are often met with fixed, polite smiles. And now a survey has confirmed what many have long suspected.
More than half of men and women could not care less about seeing your baby photos.
The question was posed by YouGov as part of its daily series of questions answered online by several thousand members of the public: Generally speaking, how do you feel about being shown recent photos of a friend or family member’s baby?
Almost 40 per cent admitted they had no burning desire to study snaps of someone else’s little bundle of joy, expressing no like or dislike. Some ten percent said they disliked it and a similar number said they hated it.
On the other side, around a quarter of more than 4,200 respondents admitted they did like looking at baby photos while ten per cent went as far as to say they loved it. Men tended to express the most negativity towards the pastime, while more women were in favour.

I don't mind looking at the odd snapshot of someone's baby, its the droning on about them by obsessive parents and grandparents that gets on my nerves.
Everyones baby is fascinating to them, not that interesting to a casual friend or relative though.
Baby snaps can be looked at and put away...baby talk goes on and on.

I don't mind looking but having them stuck in my face all the time is boring. We all feel our kids, grandkids are the best, but now with cameras on phones, you cant get away with it.

I had someone push a mobile phone in my face the other day with pics of a friends friends second cousins baby.
I ooed and ahhed for a couple of minutes to do my duty.
The pics were small and I didn't have glasses on, I could have been looking at photos of ET for all I know.
