Parents who kept their four children in shocking squalid house strewn with filthy nappies and rubbish are spared jail
[*]Police found the shocking conditions after school reported children's absence
[*]The property in Liverpool was littered with rubbish and smelt of urine
[*]Court heard about the tragic upbringing of the mother, who was raped as a child
[*]The mother and father were sentenced to 8 months, suspended for 18 months
[*]They were also told toto complete 150 hours of unpaid work as part of sentence

Meh, they're probably hoarders. A conviction won't help them.

So sad for those children. The child blames himself for the break up of the family. They were overwhelmed and there are mental health problems for both parents. Such young children, it should never have got to that stage. Hope they all get the support and help they need.
