RIP to those who died in 2017
More and more of my childhood is going... David Cassidy, RogerMoore, Tom Petty, Church Berry, Mary Tyler Moore, Cheggars, Heather Menzies (Louisa from SOM), Michael Bond, Adam West to more recent favorites such as Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington. So many more. Thanks to all for the joy they gave to millions. And to those who lost loved ones, whether famous or next door, may they find peace and healing.
No regrets about Ian Brady or Charles Manson. They should’ve gone a lot earlier. Nothing more to be said about either of them.

Seconded Cass.
So many people we grew up fondly watching and listening to have passed this year.
RIP to them all. x

Yes the very fabric of my childhood memories is slowly eroding in front of my eyes, as these icons die one by one
Here are a few of those who left us this year.

Life is short. We need to grab it and live for the day.

Me too and when I forget that, it all goes to shit. It's something I've always strived to do and mostly, I get it right.

Its not always easy to make every day worthwhile...sometimes crap gets in the way, but if you grab what you can when you can....you cant do any more than that.
Since OH retired, we make the most of life....because we have the time and God willing the health, but nothing lasts forever, we will have fun whilst we can though.

I think like you Syl. Live each day as it comes. Enjoy the good, reflect on the bad, enjoy the time we're given.
I've got no regrets in my life, made good or bad choices but they made me who I am.

When we see how many people of our era have passed in the last year, it reinforces the belief that life really is short....and no one can live it but us.

My Grandpa used to say, “You only have 1 trip here. Use it wisely.”
Smart man my grandpa. God I miss him. But 94 was a great innings.
