Trump’s HHS Dept. Blocks Negative Comments on Religious Health-Care Law
The Department of Health and Human Services is withholding more than 10,000 comments on a proposal that would roll back regulations for faith-based groups, Politico reported Monday. Instead the department has publicized just 80 comments from the public feedback session, most of which support the proposal that would allow religious organizations to buy health-care policies that excluded women’s and LGBT health services. Such a proposition stoked backlash from civil-rights groups, who told Politico that HHS was actively suppressing their comments.

Because they, more specifically he, cannot abide any form of criticism and this is just another example of playing to the radicalized base.

It will be pretty well 'self defeating' for the Trumpster's propaganda arm over the long run, anyways, to keep on "banning" the release of uncomfortable news, or the use of certain unfriendly words and phrases (like "science" or "climate change"..).
Because "ban" as much as they like, they still can't do anything about advocacy groups, charities, unions, news services, internet chatrooms, outside agencies and foreign countries going ahead with their usual day-to-day reporting, discussing and commentating..
It must be said, however, that mainstream USA is rather unique in how much weight and attention thay give to White House musings, utterances and denials, when compared to most other Western 'democracies' -- Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many others -- do seem to be much more cynical and untrusting when it comes to both the chiefs of government and their respective 'heads of state'.

There are at least three threads on this topic. Do we really need another.
