Five minutes. Give it a go.
Warning: contains upsetting scenes of animal cruelty (well of course it does - how do you think milk comes from a cow so you can drink it?)

and soya milk is BAD
most soya products are causing problems with male fertility AND are now suspected in some cases of estrogen moderated cancers in women.
the ONLY safe soya products are the fermented ones...some TOFU and such like.

And, furthermore...
Around 30-->35% of the population will develop serious allergies to soybean products, when comsumed regularly -- even if only exposed to small amounts in processed foods..
(It's their relevant proteins that trigger allergies in both soy and dairy..).

This video is total bullshit...
Right from the beginning it is full of outright lies..
Having worked in the dairy industry yonks ago, knowing a few farmers, and being a Hawkesbury old boy, I can uncategorically state that the bimbo in that video is a lying piece of shit.
Then again, these Soybean industry sponsored, Vegan/PETA produced propaganda efforts aren't aimed at people who know better..
But rather that 50% of the world's population who have never even seen a live cow in their lives...

With the complete rubbish that she's spouting, right from the beginning of the video, it is quite obvious that she's no more than a clueless pretty face voice model...
Most likely chosen for her clean and fresh ''mom and apple pie'' innocent appearance; reading from a video_prompter, with no actual clue about the subject..
And that peroxide in her hair has probably long ago dissolved any brain cells she had to begin with.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fact remains, you are still drinking a milk made for a cow calf.
Next time you can't get hold of any, drink off your dog's lactating teets, or any animal, really.
Btw, soya milk is crap SM. I wouldn't eat / drink too much soya if I were you.

More total bullshit, courtesy of some anonymous Vegan/PETA blogsites...
IF you want a better alternative to cows milk, consider sheep or goats milk..
Or avoid dairy products totally -- drink beer instead !
Or live on Coca-cola type soft drinks -- and live with the resultant osteoporosis..

Yes, it's bullshit to you, Wolf, because you want to drink milk because you like it and because you like it, you will choose to believe that a cow lactates especially for you.

Camel, sheep and Goats milks is alright, expensive though
I think you'd have issues with a carnivores milks though, since different proteins and shit, it's not like grass eaters milk that Humans (unless you are lactose intolerant) have evolved to be able to consume.
And it's Made for a calf that became dinner, waste not want not, use every bit you can.

No, it's bullshit because everything you are posting on this thread is rubbish...
If you intend to keep on posting your lies on food and nutrition, at least do yourself a favour -- and learn a little about the subject that you're attempting to pontificate upon..
Putting up a vegan-produced propaganda video, full of outright lies from the opening sentences, as some kind of "facts" is only leaving your follow-up opinions open to ridicule.
As for your nonsense about sucking on a dog's teat, that is pure emotional idiocy, with no relevance to your initial topic, anyway (as dogs aren't herbivores..).

Re: "Dairy is f***ing scary!" Watch: the truth about milk
@ Sexy Mama : as always, I call it as I see it..
The subject of this thread was about cruelty to cows on dairy farms...
Having been through Agricultural College (Hawkesbury campus, University of Western Sydney..) and worked on farms in the past, I know quite well how dairy cows are managed, how milk is produced and processed, what problems dairy can produce in some people, and what problems alternatives such as soymilk may also have..
I'm also aware of where and how cruelty will happen, and how many bad farmers and workers there may be out there in the world.
However :
* This video is full of outright lies right from that bleached-blonde airheads opening gambits;
* eddie's followup up comments are also built on lies and emotions;
* comments about dogs' teats and other animals are nonsensical -- dairy and other milks from grazing animals (goats, sheep, camels, yaks..) are different to those from carnivores and omnivores, and have been consumed by humans for thousands of years;
* On a worldwide basis, maybe 3/4 of people may develop some intolerance, sensitivity or outright allergies to dairy products -- but the great majority of those are from African and Asian backgrounds;
* Around 75-->80% of people of European heritage won't have problems with dairy products..
If eddie is genuinely opposed to animals being farmed for their milk, can we also assume that as well as milk, she also avoids :
Cream
Butter
Yoghurt
Ice cream, etc. ?

Too True that, veya...
You can also add wild, stray and "blooded" dogs on to cats;
And baboons, and occasionally chimpanzees, as 'minor' apes;
And certain species of birds will also kill for fun/'sport' -- e.g. Currawongs and Indian Mynahs, for starters..

problem is you're raising awareness of lies, these anti dairy videos are simply inaccurate.
Let PETA get it's way and cows will be extinct, do you really hate cows that much?

Re: "Dairy is f***ing scary!" Watch: the truth about milk
I detest PETA, and "Vegans" in general, for one simple reason -- if PETA and their followers ever got their wishes, several industries that I am either involved in, or have been involved with in the past, would disappear overnight... Millions of people would be made unemplyable overnight; billions of people would starve.. The environmental damage under a PETA regime would be much greater than portrayed by the usual braindead Vegans cheering them on.
Dozens of species of domestic animals (pet dogs, cats and birds; horses; cattle, sheep, goats, camels, yaks, llamas, alpacas, farmed rabbits, minks and ferrets; plus any wild thing housed in any zoos..) would have to be exterminated -- as there wouldn't be anywhere to move them to in the PETA "paradise"..
While the media will often portray PETA as an "animal welfare group", and sometimes even erroneously as an "environmental" activist group, the truth is much different...
PETA is basically an advertising and marketing company at its core, created with the singular purpose of making money for its founders and chief organisers..
PETA has never created any genuine animal welfare campaigns "off their own bat" -- but have always piggy-backed off other groups efforts and initiatives, afterwards claiming undeserved credit for themselves.
Nor have PETA ever actually saved or rescued any animal species or populations..
On the contrary, most of their 'campaign directors' don't even have first-hand experience in the industries that they regularly attack -- in fact the person running their anti-mulesing advert's in the 1990s had never been on a sheep station in her life; while the organiser running their anti-kangaroo culling campaign was based in England, had never visited Oz, and had never even seen an actual 'roo in real life !
Then there the PETA/Vegans policy towards commercial beekeeping, or indeed, any kind of beekeeping -- the Vegan/PETA policy on beekeeping states that they are basically opposed to it; as fundamentally both organisations are based on the core theme of opposing human "exploitation" of animals..
At the same time that wide parts of North America and Europe are seeing their honeybee pollinators under threat from 'Colony Collapse Disorder' (CCD), habitat loss, increasing pollution and exotic diseases -- the PETA/Vegan official poiicies are directly opposed to animal research, any commercial beekeeping efforts, and commercial honeybee pollination enterprises !!!

So wolf, you say the vegans have a vested interest in this video (not sure why as they're not selling anything) yet you have a vested interest in everything they're against.
Like I always say, people will believe what they want to believe according to their own biased views.
Btw, I'm less biased than you or the people in the video. I'm not a vegan, don't want to be, never will be.
