BREAKING NEWS: Gay fitness instructor is found GUILTY of murdering the 18-month-old daughter he adopted just two weeks before

A gay fitness instructor accused of shaking his 18-month-old baby to death just a fortnight after he adopted her was today convicted of her murder.
Matthew Scully-Hicks, 31, shook Elsie Scully-Hicks before she was 'thrown against a hard floor' while he was looking after her at his home in Llandaff, Cardiff, on May 25 2016.  
Elsie died just two weeks after she was formally adopted by fitness instructor Scully-Hicks and his husband Craig, 36.
Scully-Hicks, who sobbed when he was convicted, denied murdering her but was found guilty by a jury after a four week trial.
Cardiff Crown Court heard Scully-Hick branded her 'a psycho', 'the exorcist' and 'Satan dressed up in a Babygro' in text messages and she had suffered a string of suspicious injuries before eventually killed her.
The jury of nine men and three women went out last Wednesday but returned a unanimous guilty verdict shortly after midday today.
Social services in Cardiff face an investigation over whether they missed chances to save Elsie, who suffered a catalogue of injuries - including bruises, a broken leg and a fall down a full flight of stairs in the eight months Scully-Hicks had care of her.

She died four days after being violently shaken and sustaining a fractured skull just two weeks after being formally adopted by the defendant and his husband.
On the day of Elsie's death, Scully-Hicks took her shopping for an outfit for her to wear at a party to celebrate her adoption with family and friends. 
He sent pictures of outfits at Marks & Spencer to his husband and purchased one for Elsie to wear.
But instead he shook her and then threw her to the ground, leaving his daughter fatally injured.

This poor baby let down on all sides...from her birth mother/father, to the social workers, to political correctness, to the piece of shit who fancied playing mummy and daddy's.  It's a fucking disgrace all round.

The can of worms here is that this guy is gay.   I don't believe for one moment that's got any bearing on this...as there are plenty of gay parents who love and cherish adopted kids.   But no matter how much you think you're going to love and cherish a child that's not your flesh and blood, there should be more in place here for vetting the jerks who think having a baby is just another fashion commodity.   

What should be done is that those wishing to adopt should be sent to a place where they have to deal with screaming, demanding, babies for at least a month, where they have to wash the shitty nappies, feed them, play with them and learn what it's really like to have a baby.  

The minute anyone got a whiff of this fucker screaming and yelling at this child and calling her a cu.nt. was the minute she should have been taken away from them.

God knows.   I suspect that Matthew Scully Hicks is precious by nature, prone to tantrums of his own along with a petulant spoilt nature and spiteful psyche.   What my brother, who is gay himself, calls a typical screaming queen.  No doubt he's been used to getting his own way too, doesn't cope well in a crisis, and his whole world revolves around himself.   You can just see it...the pair of them thinking that a child will seal their relationship and make it whole...that despicable trait of personal entitlement that infects the youth of today. 

At 31, Scully Hicks isn't a spring chicken himself, but clearly lacks maturity and I don't think for one moment his violent tendencies have been entirely hidden throughout his life.   He was probably the type to pull the wings off flies and torture kittens.

Looks like the injuries were known about... but in the PC world of equality, PC authorities believe that '2 gay dads' are so much greater and more important and good etc, and so much more deserving of special treatment and allowances for their behaviour, than the majority of other people...


And had the couple been smokers or UKIP supporters then the child would have been removed without any injuries at all...!!!

The baby was probably mistreated by her own biological parent(s) for her to end up being adopted, only to be mistreated all over again.

A VERY cruel man - and he's obviously good at pretending too. He must have put on a fake show of patience and kindness and competence to pass the vetting tests.

The suggestion social services looked away because the couple were gay is rubbish. This isn't the only time social services has failed to protect an adopted or fostered child. I don't think 'PC culture' is the problem here. There is clearly a general problem with how some ss workers do their job.

It doesn't.   But the fact remains that in our PC culture, things like this, along with the ghastly Rotherham scandal, are often overlooked or ignored for fear of appearing racist/homophobic/sexist.    Can you imagine the furore if some social worker had dared to suggest the child was being abused by a gay man?

There is also something rotten in the administration and organisation of many Social/Community Services departments these days;  as well as chronic under-funding and under-staffing..

Not only in Britain, but over in the USA and down here in Oz --  something is badly askew with those who run those departments --  and it has little to do with the pet hates of brainless little bigotted twats like Tommy Monk.

I agree too. Tommy makes bloody good points only to be slagged off because its not pc. That's how those Muslim men got away with raping young white girls because no one wanted to say anything.

Well it's time these in public work especially social workers did something about the crime without looking at their colour first.

Baby P was appallingly abused and let down by everyone as was Victoria Climbe. Children come first. If social workers, police, doctors can't or wont see this, then resign and let someone who can do the job take over.

How sad.  I'd like to know why this child couldn't stay with her family?   But one has to ask, why was she taken from the mother in the first place?   There must have been a reason.

There have been a few stories fairly recently where grandparents have been denied the chance to bring up their grandchildren.
One would think, unless there are genuine reasons why a baby or young child cant be cared for by grandparents, or any other responsible family member, the very last resort would be to take the child away from the environment they know and feel comfortable in, and give it away to strangers.

Why is the family, if they love that child, not given the support and help to enable them to stay together?

It's not clear if the grandparents who wanted to adopt were paternal or maternal.   Either way, I think the mother is complicit in this to a lesser degree.  When you have a child you have to get your shit together and grow up.  This poor baby was equally let down by her.
